Some questions about a 300w CFL

So I found a 300w dual spectrum cfl on ebay and I wanna ask how many plants could it grow? Would it be able to grow like 2-3 plants at once assuming I get some decent reflector? And can I use the same lamp through out the entire growth because it's dual spectrum? (2700K and 6400K)

i had 250w cfls before and powerplant reflectors, they make the most out of cfls and are very good but cover 1 plant and hal of anothe plant so i didnt like it. Gave me huge top colas but the rest of the plant was useless. U can use dual spectrum the whole grow, i suggest use the 23w cfls and put them surrounding and above ur plants, ul get more out then.

Im growing right now with a 250 Watt Dual spectrum CFL... And as was stated above it only covers 1 full plant and like half the other.. It forced me to buy another 125 watt red spectrum just to have the coverage i need.. But even with just these 2 bulbs my lower branches are struggling to produce.. But my top colas on the other hand are amazing..

I say give it ago just aslong as you get side coverage.. That bulb and side overage would kick ass :) i plan on upping my grow to about 600 actual watts with my 2 existing bulbs and plenty coverage on the sides...

i would build somthing to keep the plants in if you can keep the cfls light utilized and keep it from just running away then you could do very well. with a 300 watt depending on the size of the room/box

copy grorites style unless u want just huge top buds, i had white widow when i used my cfls last. My top buds where supported by bamboos and they were about as big as coke bottle. The rest of the plant was less than a gram of weed. I had 4 plants under 2 x 250w powerplant cfls and only 2 plants were good. get loads small cfls as ul have alot mot coverage.

How can I make a good setup from a lot of small cfls? Do I need to build anything or can I just use simple sockets without any reflectors?
