Some questions about bubble bags and the bubble now machine

Hey guys, I have been on these forums a while and never really posted much usually find what I need by just searching, but I have a few questions for everyone about bubble bags and bubble now machine. A year or so back I bought some cheap bubble bags off ebay and they seemed to work fine for my needs then but are now breaking down so its time to get a new set. Anyways I have been doing a lot of research on the bubble now machine and am thinking about making an investment in the 5 gallon machine, I wanted to see what people think about that machine as all I have heard are good from it. Also I noticed that some people are running the 1 gallon bubble bags with the machine so I wanted to see if you guys think thats a good idea or if you think its worth going with the 5 gallon bags as well. And finally I am curious what micron screens you guys are running, I want to cut down on the cost of bags and just get a few individual bags, I noticed that Matt Rize (in his instructional video) only uses 3 bags the 190, 120, and the 45 besides the 220 workbag in the machine. Does anybody else just run a few bags like that? In my old bag set the 25 micron bag dripped incredibly slow so I was thinking go with the 45 instead of the 25 but I dont want to lose any precious goodies by doing so. Any help would be great thanks guys.

I can't stand waiting for the lower micron bags to drain. They suck. I think using bubble bags with water is just stupid and a waste of time. It's all about the dry ice and making kif.

I have made a lot of dry ice keif and do enjoy it but I really want to make some full melt bubble (something dabbable) and I have been straying away from bho lately because I dont like all the chemicals involved in the process.

Has anybody tried this? it's Gumby method bubble hash, no bags, just gravity ice and water. It's on my To Do List, but i havent tried it myself yet.

its funny you mention this I have seen a few things on it but im not sure how well it would work.. maybe better than the bags or maybe you end up with a lot of extra plant material in the finished product

lol slow bag drainage is the most common problem. but it is the easiest to solve. these are instructions straight from bubblemans site. dry ice hash is crap imo. the real bubble bags are the only way to go. i have the 4bag 5gal setup $160 on ebay when i purchashed. i only use 3 bags 220-160-25 works great.

Closing this bag at the top and grasping it tightly while lifting it out of the bucket makes for quick and easy draining, the trick is to give it a quick jerk upwards.

44.By dropping the bag down six inches after jerking it upward, you allow the water to pass thru the screen while the resin is floating off the screen. Doing this a few times in a row will quickly drain a slow draining bag.
