The plants pictured are about three weeks old now, grown from seed. Skunk # 11 feminized. The problem is: Starting from the oldest leaves, they have been slowly curling under, turning a dull yellow before developing necrosis (both the yellowing and leaf death starting from the tips of these lower leaves). So far, the leaves right after the 'seed leaves' have succumbed to this over the course of a week but the first three-pronged leaves are starting to curl and turn yellow slightly.
The reason I'm so confused is that there seems to be a completely different problem with the newer leaves; they're turning up/inwards. Like the serrated edges along each 'part' of the leaf are becoming concave. Another problem with the newer growths is that the stems are turning purple. I haven't heard of skunk being particularly purple and with the other problems I'm having it's easy to assume that I'm doing something wrong. The only nutes I've used (after a week and a half of veg, right after the problem first showed itself) was a 15-6-6 that I use at half strength and though it's not fixing the problem, I have the feeling that it's not making it worse. I couldn't find a water pH meter at the store so I got a soil pH tester before learning that they're next to useless. Nevertheless I used it since it's there until I get a water pH meter and it said between 6 and 7 so for now I'm going with a deficiency over a pH problem.
I looked at the "read before posting" threads, and I guess there's symptoms of a magnesium or perhaps phosphorous deficiency; the only problem is that there are several different symptoms affecting different parts of the plant so it could be two deficiencies, or any other combination of issues.
Though the pics are really shitty, hopefully they'll give you an idea what's going on; even if you can't see it that well in the photos, the problems (lower leaves necrosis/turning, upper leaves 'concaving'/stem purpling) are actually very noticeable if you were to see them in real life. A friend is coming in two days to tattoo me so if she brings her camera I'll get some better pics. Any help is appreciated and sorry about the long post but I'd like to fix this before it really compromises my yield. If I don't get any replies I'll just buy some epsom salts, hope it's magnesium and see what happens.
