Some strains cure faster than others. Which ones cure quicker than the rest?

I was in a dispensary the other day and the owner was telling me about a new strain that only needs a 10-14 day cure. I never thought about the lengths of time. I always cured them all the same way.

So if some strains cure faster than the others ... what are they?

And why? How does that work? Don't they all need basically the same amount of time to process all the goodies inside, tastes, smells, flavors etc.?

I'm very curious. Has anyone thought much about this ... or researched it?

He would probably sell you some oil that will make your buds quadruple in size as well. I call BS.

I swear what youre saying is true!

the strain i was growing, GRAPE GOD, cured so fast! before it was off the plant it smelled and tasted and hit like it was cured for a few weeks. then 3 days after being taken off the plant and it was DONE

ready to smoke and the smoothest smoke ive ever had.

I feel like it had to do with the way the buds formed. it didnt grow massive colas and when i trimmed it i cut the buds down to about gram sized buds. so they dried and cured faster.

check out this thread

its the way i dry my shit to get it like that. 3 days in the dark, then chop, trim, and hang for 3 days, take the buds off the main branch, trim a leaf or 2 i missed, then put in a tupperware for 3 more days. and it comes out like its been curing for a month. spectacular. hard as a rock sticky as fuck smellier than fuck and smoother than cold mountain air hahahaha

and i would assume that strains with big coke can sized colas take longer and what not.

No doubt in my mind different strains require different cure times.
I have some strains that are ready at 2 weeks in the jar with no noticeable difference between 2weeks and 30 days.
I have some strains that require a 45 day cure to hit the sweet spot.
