This is a perfect example of "How Not to Grow".........fertilization rates are way too high, over watering is obvious, hard and compact soil and that's just off a quick glance. MORE is NOT better, in any regard while growing pot.

Cut him some slack, at least he's honest about being a beginner. I prefer that to the posers who act like experts and recommend things they've never actually tried themselves.
It would be like me giving advice on hydro -- I don't know shit. :dunce:

Lol right i hate when i have multiple people in my store. One person asks a question and if the second person offers advice sometimes i have to call them out on it. Hard to do without making the guy feel dumb. If i dont say anything and its bad advice it hurst the askers grow. If you only have a couple grows under your belt best not offer advice. Even then have reliable research data to pull from.

What is available in your area?
It doesn't have to be fancy, especially if you have time to let it "cook". I personally don't want mine to actually get hot since the humus is already broken down. I just want it to blend & stabilize (ph), plus it gives the microbes time to multiply.
If you can get cheap potting soil at your local stores, just fortify it with crab meal + langbeinite, and you'll be good to go. Not the greatest mix but not bad either... :?
