Some unique problems

Hey guys, i see you have a very nice site here :) I am just starting to grow, but i have some technicalities or unique problems that are making me worried and slowing me down. I live in CT with a roommate, and i am the only one who smokes. I dont want him to know I'm growing, but i need to at least get the plants growing enough to plant them outside. Currently, i and using a method that i think will be found, as i am not home as much as him. I have the following as my set up for growing:
-A plastic dresser, exposed on both sides where the drawer slide in, covered with coats and clothes and blankets, really whatever i need to hide the light from shining out with i am not home, and him stumbling upon it when i am not home. I dont know how long this will hold out, without him finding it, and then i am screwed.
-I also have a 120 watt normal house bulb running inside to keep light on my plant. I am growing one, but hope to get up to five. The light is on 24/7 for the time being, but will be 12/7 when i need to make them budd.

So really my problem is that i cant find a good way to grow these without them being found. If my roommate goes into my room looking for something and moves the blanket or clothes, he will find my crop. Any better suggestions for hiding this without making it looks suspicious?

Honestly, you are taking a huge risk having marijuana plants in your house with your room mate there too. Also, it's a really selfish thing to do to put them at unknowingly at risk due to your operation. My advice would be to talk to your room mate about starting a few plants and moving them outside within a week or two and then you wouldn't need to worry, and he wouldn't need to know where you planted them either.
