Tell ya what would make me the happiest man on earth, would be a virius that wipes out house-flies. I just came inside cos they just fuck me off too much to .. I cannot find words to adequately express my hate for flies. Not just because they breed in dirty nappies, old tampons, dog shit, rotten meat etc, but because they just don't fukn leave you alone. Only takes one fly: Constantly buzzing at my ears for a while and I go *apeshit*.
More accurately, I start *fuming* since there's nothing to go apeshit *at*, unless I can catch the fly, but if I do I actually sit down to torture them. One leg at a time, burn it's arse with my lighter, pluck a wing off, and THEN start annoying it like it's annoyed me.
Fucking *hate* flies. Just HATE them.
Dude i feel the same , they are the scum of the earth .
I can imagine you going outside for just 1 min and thena single fly starts buzzing around your ears , then lands on your face a couple of times then it's world war3 !
You jump up throwing hay makers in the air (big ass wild punches ) You are looking like a friggin tornado right now , just a whirlwind of punches and kicks .
Then you run out of puff sitt down try to have a cold beer and just at that point of you taking that well deserved sip of beer , that same smart arse fly lands on your face again ,
with it's bum pointing rite at you laghing it's fucking head off .
Then you crack the shit's and go inside .
( to be continued ................)
In the summer hear in NY we get biteing horse flys
If your hands are busy for a minute they will take a chunk out of you
F-ing parasites
We get them fuckers here in oz aswell , they hurt bad when they bite you , then it stings for hours after that .
Sand flies are just as bad but you can't see them , they are typically 1-2mm in size .
But the sting lasts for days of the worst itchyness you could imagine.
The bull ant's are the stingers you have to watch out for here !
Your sitting down havn a bbq with friends then all of a sudden you get this sharp stinging pain on your leg ,
It's this giant fucking bull ant stuck to you by it's legs , it grips on , rolls into like a ball and pinches on with it's claws while all the time
it is stinging you multiple times with it's rear end . Just bastards they are !!!!!

[h=3]Standard Common Name[/h]Bull ants
[h=3]Alternative Name/s[/h]Bulldog ants
[h=3]Number of species[/h]90
[h=3]Identification[/h]Bull ants are large, alert ants that can grow up to 40 mm They have characteristic large eyes and long, slender mandibles and a potent venom-loaded sting. They have superior vision, able to track and even follow intruders from a distance of 1 metre. Many species of bull ants have bright red or orange colours on the head or abdomen.
There are about 90 species of bull ants in Australia with diverse behaviours and life cycles. Nine bull ant species have been recorded in Sydney, but there may be more as yet undiscovered. Some of the smaller species are known as jumper ants after their habit of aggressively jumping toward intruders.
[h=3]Size range[/h]8 mm - 40 mm
[h=3]Distribution[/h]Bull ants are found throughout Australia.
[h=3]Habitat[/h]Bull ants live in urban areas, forests and woodland, and heath.
[h=3]Feeding and Diet[/h]Bull ants collect nectar and other plant juices, as well as animal prey, which are carried back to the nest.
[h=3]Other behaviours and adaptations[/h]Bull ant nests are usually underground and often have hidden or small entrances. The nests can extend several metres below the ground. They attack intruders of any size that come too close to their nest. Bull ants also have well-developed vision and will follow or even chase an intruder a good distance from the nest. Usually the sight of large aggressive ants streaming out of the nest is enough to prompt a hasty retreat. If not, the ants deliver painful stings by gripping the intruder with their mandibles (jaws), curling their abdomen to reveal the sting and injecting the victim with venom. Often multiple stings are delivered.
[h=3]Life cycle[/h]Several species have no colony workers. Instead, a raiding queen invades the nest of another species, kills the resident queen and takes over the colony.
[h=3]Danger to humans and first aid[/h]These ants can deliver painful stings and are aggressive. An ice pack or commercially available spray may be used to relieve the pain of the sting. If there is evidence of an allergic reaction, medical attention should be sought.
