Happened to me once. With canna zym. U got a lot bubbles in there?

I changed to flooming an it stopped.

Bubbles are fine foam isn't as builds up an will cause you problems.

I don't think you need to worry, that could be problematic if res temps were warmer. The res might be getting slimy if you are just replacing the nutes and not cleaning it well.

put a circulation pump in there instead an it stopped it, as the foaming in my rez would gather on the sides then turn to slim an i had to keep wiping it clean every day which drove me mad.

have you put a massive pump an air stone in there try slowing the pump down if u can your prob making to many bubbles as i think that caused it in my case.

I use 2 airstones and that is all. However, I decided to run a sterile reservoir this time around and so far no complaints. All the organic matter and algae build-up that I had last time was slimy and the gnats loved it....it was my 1st ebb and flow. I am a user of beneficials and organic additives during veg to establish a solid root system. Without microbial life I get less slime, funk, and ph swings.
