Somebody tell me why this is a bad idea.

Putting your lights below your plants facing up. Would this help them stay short?

The sun is'nt on the ground it's in the sky, notice the leafs are a different color on the bottom than the top. Don't know what it would do for sure but plants grow towards the light.

there are a lot better ways to keep your plants short.
