Good luck on round two! Judging from round one you won't really need it though! I'm thinking the screen on the ceiling isn't a far off goal. You seem to be able to have a good relationship with your plants... keep it up!
 
Speaking of loving my plants! Jig got some samples from me. I expect a smoke report. :-)

I think seriously like maybe 10 people total have ever had anything I grew beside me and my wife. So... not much 3rd party feed back on my stuff. I like it and thats what counts the most though. :-)

I also have some super cool stuff getting ready. I will update with pictures when I get my lazy ass underway with all this. OH BOY... I cant wait. Like a kid in a candy store I am.

I gifted away some TGA Ace of Spades, Marion Berry, and Jesus OG to see what the response was. They loved it! I am glad it turned out to their liking. The Scott's OG is still my favorite and the Jilly Bean is a close second.

Harvested the Mulanje cola with the Jilly Bean cross:




As I got close to the tip of the cola the number of seeds increased greatly.

I cant even imagine how long it takes to trim one of those outdoor monsters you got. I have not tried TGA gear. Looks like it will be a bit too considering Jig just gave me some new genetics. :-) I will post in detail when I can get to work on it.

If only real work wasn't so busy lately. Just moved up though thanks to some political maneuvering. Hopefully my pay goes up too when they rewrite my job description next year. "fingers crossed" LOL
 
Here is an update on the cabinet. I should have cut clones and fed last night but I was lazy. Tonight is the night for all that.

-pre-98 bubba
-AK-47
-Blue Dream

Also!....

I will be starting some S33ds from Breeders Boutique tonight as well. Jig supplied me with the genetics and I will try to find a mom from each for us both to take cuts from. Likely they will not make it to my next flower cycle but the following... Unless I get a second space going like I want to. We shall see!

I plan on starting 3 of each. We chose Deep Psychosis (querkle pheno) and Engineers Dream. I have seen A LOT of pictures of BB gear on here and am very excited to stock my cabinet with these two strains. THANKS a ton Jig! Even my wife was saying, "you haven't started anything from seed in years".
 
I have been kicking around a second flower space. I would probably only do some supplementary grows in it during the winter so I wouldn't need to cool it. Here are my ideas:


-Buy a used 2x4 tent setup off craigs list and run a 600w Scrog on the opposite schedule as my cabinet. This is the quickest/easiest solution

-Buy a used cabinet and deck it out as a vertical flower chamber using the majority of the height as a screen. I could run 4 vertical in that cabinet and 2 in the existing one. This would be a bit more work but would be more like my existing cabinet and probably last forever.

-Use the chest freezer I already have and throw the 400w I have in it and just get some ventilation and odor control for it. I think I could do up to 4 plants in it with a parabolic scrog like I have done in the past. some pics of this idea and the freezer are below. I have been leaning towards going this route because I could test the waters with running a second space. Jigs bathroom fan made me think I could do this option for about 80$ total and be up and running in a few weeks. I could double task the freezer as a veg cabinet too. I wish I had a 250 w metal halide to throw in it. . This is probably the most cost effective and is also quick and easy.

Yea I know. It was my smallest plant last round as it went straight to flower from small teen. The one in there now is front right and its big. only one working its way up to the ceiling already. That means there will hopefully be a lot more of it next time. The bubba plant is in the back left and it is very stout. I am excited to try it this time. :-)
 
I started them last night when I took clones! Yay! :-) My wife reminded me that it has been about 4yrs since starting from seed. This time around I put them in the RapidRooter cubes and in cups since I dont want to mess with moving them from a paper towel. Only did 3 of each so hoping that at least one of each is a female. The 3 clones you see up front are for another patient.

Man I love how well they are filling the screens. For only being a week and a half in your coverage is going to be excellent.

Props to you and Jig for the BB arrangement. Sounds like a great example of a mutually beneficial agreement. Love the looks and sound of the engineer's
dream. I hear great things about the Dog and its crosses.
 
I tried some dog Jig grew. AMAZING. I am pretty excited about this grow as I think it will do better than the last. Jig is on the same schedule as me right now too. He is a good guy. Our family's have had a great time hanging out and its pretty nice to know someone else who grows thats close by. Plus we both have little ones. :-) You are in the area too I think stone? I gotta say that being almost 40 with little ones makes it limiting as to how much and who you get to hang out with. LOL! Most of them time I am super insular... Family, plants, and bags is about all I can get done outside of work these days.

Wish I was out there with you guys, but I'm in the Mitten of 'Murica. Enjoy those little ones while they're little guys! I'm 40ish and mine are into the teen years. I miss those days when everything I did was cool lol.
 
Sorry man. I know what it is like to grow completely under the radar. Wouldn't even frequent the forum for a few years because of it.

I have a 10yo daughter who is awesome. so I have a little one and a 10yo. I can see I am not quite as cool as I once was. lol Recently had the MMJ talk with her too. Cant fool kids really when everyone around except for my parents has something to do with it.

Ahh man.... Im gonna say to hell with work. not doing any anyway really. I want to go home and hold my bubba now... LOL
 
Just dropping a note in here that stretch has not stopped yet. The sour bubble is of course setting buds already but the others are still climbing up the walls a bit more. I am pretty excited to see the outcome in early march. :-). This is far better grow than last time and last time was pretty damn good. I think the next round will be 2 blue dreams, 2ak47 and one bubba. Hopefully the one following will be full bb gear. :-)
 
Six out of six above ground on the bb gear. One is still just folded over but visible. Looking really good for just a few days. Clones are cloning and the cabinet has stopped stretching.

IT's cool we started 12/12 the same time cuz we can compare where our plants are at. Mine pretty much look like yours, the bud sites at least. Stoked the seeds all popped.
 
It is pretty awesome. Exact same timeline but two different spaces. Things look really good in there this time too. I think my grow is finally dialed in for the most part. :-). Im working on the freezer. Gonna put the 400 w hps in it and just need to get a big bathroom fan and make a scrubber. I already gutted it so will just have to make some cuts etc and its done.

Makes me feel i havent lost my touch with seeds with them all popping. Could be a credit to the breeder too :-). Lol
 
I made some cannamels last night. Took them to a little more hard candy. Put two pieces in my coffee this morning. Its a nice stone. :-). The pills i made turned out good. Made 280 of them and about 100pcs of candy. :-). Next time they will be a bit stronger as i will have alot more trim to play with. :-)

jig. You dont like edibles? Why is that? :-).
