I wouldn't go that far but it is pretty cool. better than a bunch of cfl over them. sometime next year my whole garden will probably be led based lighting.

FYI my mojos og is starting to come around finally. saw new growth yesterday. I am looking forward to this one.

Thanks SomeGuy! yeah dude totally dig your set up. Im total hydro all the way. That's the way I like to roll. I throw in some small coco 1 gallons here and there to fill up space, but shit man, if I can get it going on likeyou! up and down the walls , that's all I need. How much do you yield with your set up.? I can get 9 to 18 zips per plant wit a 2 gallon water farm. Attempting 2 waterfarms in one 4 by 4 was hectic , especially 2 very different strains. I presume you run all the same strain to help maintain consistency and an even canopy.

Lol. I run all different strains. Last time was like 10oz of nug from the cabinet. That's not counting the larf bud and all the trim. Before that it was 12oz. Depends on what I'm running. Cabinet is a 2*3*3. Tents will be a HUGE upgrade for me.

I am so ready for a decent harvest. been running on low. LOL! this one comes down in november. Cabinet is almost finished and I am excited to upgrade into the 3x3 tent with the hps. Thinking I am gonna run the 400watt w a cmh vertical stadium.

can u explain to me how you do your wire up the sides to the tent and where it comes from please.
also, How does your set up drain and flow > wheres the rez> ? one thing I do have to question, though, ... both your Indicas and sativas look a bit droopy llike...and the sativa is clawing. I see nute burn on the tips. wat is you ppm at .. ?/ too much water for the indica?

Its clawing from lights off temps being higher than lights on. Happens every summer. As soon as fall really hits here and my temps even out it will be fine. However. These all look normal compared to hps grows in the cabinet.

Read up on Hempy. No red. All passive. Close to soil but its hydro.

Besides the heat...

The plants on the left are cherry pie. It grows funky. like this since I got it.

I have raised my lights up a bit more even. the intensity is a bit more than is needed in the space. I saw some VERY slight bleaching on the bud tops last night and raised the lights. I have gotten closer with HPS with an air cooled tube than I can with these leds. I think with 9 plants in the 4x4 tent these lights will be better suited. I am running almost 63w per sq ft. currently. IN the 4x4 I will be running about 32w per sq ft and that will be much better.

As for droopy. I have rarely had plant pray in a scrog situation with this much density. Only in my plants that are outdoor and un-trained.

Observation:
The onset of budding came later than normal for me. These are growing great but I think there is something to the red "trigger" alot of led users are using.


HEMPY:

The classic way uses 1/3vermiculite to 2/3perlite as the medium. I only use perlite

-Take a container and make a hole anywhere from 1.5 to 2" above the bottom. Thats the REZ.
-put perlite in the container and add plant. Water from the top. It will fill the rez (bottom two inches) and excess will pour out the hole. This process also adds oxygen to the medium
-Water every 3rd day or whenever light. You can give them nutrients as needed in veg. feed-feed-water in flower.

The second to the last picture has no signs of stress. It looks very happy! What strain is she?
I wonder whether adding an airstone to the bottom of the container might help the 2" of rez water keep oxygenated better?
Do you have a system for keeping the roots at a low temp? LordJin had a chiller running in his rez.
Indoor has so many things to dial in it drives me crazy! I wish I could do it for a living. I think I will check with the local schools and see what kind of botanical programs they are running.

Honestly I dont worry too much about it all. I know if I water and keep an eye on them they will produce. Some like things more than others but I rarely have complete flops. If its not winter growing indoors is always kinda a crap shoot. no chillers and all sorts of equipment for me mo. just simple simple simple.... LOL

strain pictured is dog. CP always claws though. when she is done she will be stem wiht easy to trim buds. LOL

shit you all know I dont ph or meter anything anymore anyway...

I have to take some pictures but I noticed a few of the seeds are about to come up. Seems like my latest batch of clones is doing well too. I like the led tubes really. I am about to harvest the cabinet and then tear it all apart. Wish me luck all!

FYI, I will take some led pics soon but the chop in the cabinet has me slowed down.. I am also ripping out hte gear so I have a lot to do to get ready and grow the 3x3 tent out in its place. woot!

Scott's and JOG are super vigorous. Very easy to clone. This is one of the reasons I have kept them around.

HOLY SHIT I have been super busy with work. LOL! Looks like its on until November really and then all hell breaks lose in December too. Just had to share my stress...

-I need to take pictures... Maybe tonight I can. LED tent looks good, for sure slower for onset of flower than hps but growing just as good. I figure 9-10wks vs 8-9 normally. If I add a red trigger probably back to 8-9.

-HPS Cabinet is gone and all the gear is out. I setup the 3x3 tent but havent decked it out with gear quite yet. STill figuring out what I need to do with it but soon it will house the veggers. I plan on using a 400w hps ballast with a 400w cmh lamp in the 3x3.

-The veg tent.... I am thinking instead of doing an upper and lower section that I may buy parts and add two more led tubes to my troffer fixture. Seems to veg plants fine as is too so until I upgrade it I think it will be ok for my purposes.

-I am ready to get some good winter grows this year. woot!
