Get a Guillie suit, and a rifle, and wait. Next year, pick a different spot, as this year's spot is soon to be covered with bodies.

Or just take a warning shot. Hit someone in the leg. They may realize "oh maybe stealing this isnt as consequence free as i once thought" and leave to never return. Then, leave and never return; your plants are gone, for this year. Maybe harvest what you can first.

there are some violent ass growers here...

its not worth going to jail over some plants you didnt hide well enough...

its cuz of this kind of person that i always carry concealed... if i stumble on someones little crop in the woods (i wouldnt take it) but if they rushed me with and threatened me with any kind of weapon - i could legally shoot them dead, and be innocent in the eyes of the law (in my state)... hopefully your visitors are not like me.

This is true. I've noticed a lot of hard ass talk, and it's easy to be an internet badass. It's more than likely the growers fault because he can't keep his mouth shut, or his location sucked.

NO, it's not worth shooting people over. If you even own a gun and you get caught growing it's like an automatic 5 years in my state, even if it's registered. Be stupid, and you'll never grow safely again. Either move it, cut it now, or let it go and live to grow another day. Really, is it worth your freedom and reputation?

Simple:

You said they were budding and mature. Cut them now, get what you can.

If you don't they will belong to those thieves.

Good luck next year.

P.S. Don't listen too all these violent people. I've got loads of guns and hate thieves with a passion but someone breaking into your private property or home is much different than someone finding your poorly hidden grow on public land. :peace:

edit: Another option is to sabotage them. Wait till they out there nabbing your plants, call the police, let the police catch them transporting a bunch of pot back to their vehicle and let them try to explain.

If someone tries to steal my plants I'd torture them, and not no pansy waterboarding, I'm talking pliers, drills, and ballpeen hammers. I would decorate my shed with their entrails like christmas lights. I would put their body through a woodchipper and then I'd feed the slop to the pigs. Does that make me bad? I hate F'n thieves.

Luckily no one knows where my plants are and I've seen no one within 1000 yards of my plants all year.

By far the best idea.

this happened to us one year so we cut them all about two weeks early and were happy to get what we got. the real bummer was it was one of our best grow areas of all time and we had to abandon it for about 3 seasons. we also monitored the area with hunter cams untill we were sure no one was passing by anymore. what beaner said about site choice was dead on. make it painfull for anyone to approach your girls.

I guess when I think about it I do my grows ALOT more hidden then most people...like I said I don't do this for fun...I just put four rusty bear traps in one of my fields. I still think cutting a crop a few weeks early IS NOT A OPTION .

its the rusty bear traps and lethal booby traps that give outdoor growers a bad name...

cash or pleasure - its really a bad idea to add traps... ESPECIALLY if its NOT on your own land...

Here's a better one. Chop a good amount first then leave enough for them to be charged with attempted distro along with cultivation charges.:mrgreen:

Hey, its not my problem....if someones snooping in a field that is in the middle of nowhere (if you hid them well enough)

A.There a cop
B.They are rippers

That's it.....and in that case I don't mind catching myself a cop or a ripper.....I've always used Ir trail cams for my grows as well......I already had someone steal a crop from me last year and a trail cam!!!! IT WILL NEVER HAPPEN AGAIN.

my motion detectors arnt working so im going 2 just slleep with them, u should always be armed cuze u dont know if the robbers will have a gunif u w8 out thier long enough u can atleast kill thier ass and take ur weeed outta there that nite. idk sleep under a bush tree and pepper thier legs with a shotty, i personally carry a .22 mag single 6 for property gun. . spot light s are cheap, just bring your dog with u and maybe a buddy 2 keep u company, u worked for them why chop early? that would be like stealing from your self.

Let's face it.....if they were property owners who were interested personally in "your" crop that "you" grew on "THEIR" land.......I'd say it's all up in the air as to what is fair play.
Afterall, YOU jeopardized THEIR possible downfall........kind of hard to fault "them" for that.
~~~Just looking at it from "their" point of view.
If I stumbled upon some kind bud on MY land........it's MINE.
If I stumble upon the same on someone elses land/public or not......I'll take a clone.....if it's worthy. :mrgreen:
