Someone help!

Nearly all plants in cold temps will give you some colours, I got Painkiller by Dr underground and it has blue/purple budd leafs nice colours....

If you do lower your night temps make sure lights on temps is low aswel prefebly 8-10c difference.

I tried to turn church purple in my first grows and messed up by that I had 20c difference lol I stunted it rather than do good, She seeded and tiny bit of purple tho loool it was snap, crackle and pop spliffs .

I got a better intake now there is 7c difference.

Ok so the checking run off thing ... now I understand this would be optimal for soil and regular hydro growers .. now a lot of u r gunna argue I have some articles to back me up if u want them... testing runoff from coco is not an accurate way of measuring if u have excess salt buildup "in coco" ..k first if I wanna say I was fucking up in coco until I started following this ...the most reliable way to measure the nutrient levels/salt buildup in coco is the 1: 1.5 extraction method. EC and pH of the root environment can be determined by using this method. the EC and pH of the drain water ussually deviates from the actual root situation, as coCo is able to hold and release elements. .what I would do Is drill 3 1 inch holes in the Side of your pots one nearest to the floor then middle and other side of the middle...u can do the top too but I feel like with salt buildup were trying to read the 3/4to bottom areas of the pot correct??..this is plan A - anyways so after u have your access holes u can now easily get samples using eather a core sampler or even a broken hollow aluminum broom handle.. put a sample of each hole in a different cup.. then add 1.5 times the volume of each sample, in water to ur sample cups mix each slurry sit for 45 min and then test e.c and pH.. then once u have the 3 e.c readings and 3 pH readings look to see if there relatively close together if they are clean your res refill with about 1/4 strength less nutes ph it to 5.8 and get 30 percent runoff make sure it's 30 percent and then test again until ur system is in equalobrium.. this is plan b-if the case that during ur first 3 samples your e.c and pH values vary a lot then that's where u proceed to flush your medium..1 more thing for coco when u flush do not flush with plain water .. clean your res add water add calmag if ur water supply is less than 0.2 ec for example R.O water... and then add a quarter strength nutrients mix well ph to 5.8 then flush ur medium I usually do 3 times the volume of my growing medium container but that's just me ... after this is done core sample again and if ur medium is now better but the levels are still not spot on then do a plan A. As I said above

1 more thing too.. once u get this right ..keep your ph stable and do a gradual increase on your ph e.g 1.1 1.2 1.3 .. and monitor your entire plant during this gradual increase over time and you won't have these problems anymore .. I hated my life when I was going through this I hope this helps ..peace and respect

Sorry to bump but im still having problems, primarily this lady, the others are doing it slightly but this is the tallest and closest to the light, that seems to be where the tips are turning yellow mid way and up, I have PH at 6.3 and havent been feeding at all just plain phed water, and what is E.C. Im a kind of a newb please forgive lol, but I did measure and its at 31 inches tall at 26 days old lol, not too bad I guess. but could i get a little more help please?

An EC meter measures the potential for an electrical current to be transported through water known as molar conductivity (electrolytic conductivity) and expressed as siemens (S). Electrons flow from one set of electrodes to another in water across a space not because of the water molecules but because of the ions in the water. Ions transport the electrons and limit the amount of electrons that can travel the space by the number of ions available or able to transport; the higher the concentration the greater the flow. Pure water itself is a bad conductor, which is why an EC meter will read 0.0 in rainwater, reverse osmosis water or de-mineralized water. In contrast, salty seawater is a much better conductor.

When we add nutrients (salts) to water we increase the molar conductive potential for current through water and so increase the EC value (or CF = EC*10). All conductivity measurements are directly affected by temperature and must be compensated for

You need to invest in one your e.c is to high ur tips are yellow from high e.c in your res and u need to get your ph to 5.8 read my posts thoroughly lol

In laymans terms...ec is the amount of nutrients (dissolved solids) in your water.An ec meter is pretty handy to dial in your feeding schedule

Understood, I will buy one at my local hydro store. I mean it is growing and flowering nicely its just those damn tips! I flushed it about two days ago and im not going to feed until next watering a slight amount. I think she will be ok. I just now know what not to do! thanks guys! Much appreciated.

U rly don't listen do u..lol..tell me u didn't flush that coco with plain water

U need an EC meter to flush that coco.. coco has a buffering agent ..if u flush coco with plain water the buffering agent can be removed and u will have problems u really need to read my posts lol
