t5 creates shorter node spacing but yea hps is the only way to go in flower imo.

I guess I should have added off my experance I have tighter node spacing using t5s then the mh, I am able to keep plants tight and bushy but I do ollipop bottom third of plant cause the penetration simply isn't there with the t5 but the mh grew tall and spacey both worked great I even had a easier time keeping the 600watt mh cooler then my 4ft 8bulb t5, just I like the way t5 growth is , don't really no the tru science don't really care to either , sorry for making it seem hard fact instead of personally experience

There is allot going on here and im bored so heres my 2 cents and pictures to back up...... first of all if your on east coast depwnding on status most us seed banks dont ship to your state (I could be wrong about your state) but I use single seed centre..... fast discreet shipping usually takes 10 days and they carry alMost any seed from any breeder you want and you can buy singles not packs...... you also get free seeds..... not shitty seeds but top of the line feminized seeds, and if your seeds dont make it within 21 days e mail them and they will resend as many times as it takes to reach you no extra charge... now on to the cash cropper.... lets just say supplimental cash cropper that should fix things, your not going to buy a house and land under t5 but you can make a good car payment monthly (2 actually lol) and guess what it can be done using autoflowers...
this is a t5 grown white cheese auto on day 46 from seed in another 3 weeks ill harvest it for arpund 2.5 oz of premium bud and it gets a pretty good price tag (on east coast)..... if you stagger 3 of these plants a month apart under a t5 ho 8 bulb fixture with 50 50 veg and bloom lights you too can be a "supplemental" cash cropper lol happy growing guys.... I have more pics if my grow in the auto flower section ill be updating pics every few days jump over there and check them out

You Are absolutely correct but if the kid is just getting started after two harvest his income would be build up enough he could buy top of the line led or hps.... I only use my setup bc it was free ill be upgrading later but for now it will get the job done not to mention this is getting done in a 4x2 basement closet with only one fan no outside ducting and temp stays around 76 lights on and power bill went up an avg of 8 dollars a month
