Something is eating my plants!

hey guys...this is my first grow and im using cfls... now my problem is that something is starting to eat away at the top of my plants... its 3 days into flowering and the top looks pretty bit up...but its only on one side of the plants...

It may be obvious to someone else what it is, but I have a question...

Do you have a cat?

I noticed the semi-circular appearance of the holes in the one pic.

I had a couple of seedlings a friend gave me years ago, and when I was transplanting I turned around to get the new flower pots, and when I turned back my cat was sitting there licking his lips and the seedlings were gone.

It's probably invertebrates, but thought I'd ask :)

god i feel like such an idiot haha... yea my gf brings her kitty over in the morning... i thought the holes started appearing during lights off at night but the cat isnt here during the night... ill have to keep the cat out of the room and see if any more holes reappear... thanks for your help...

yea thats definatly a cat......... my cats used to do that all the time. i had to block off the intake with a window scren because it was stressing the plants :P

thanks...it helps when you have a nice camera...:mrgreen:

im glad it was only the cat...i have a friend who recently lost 10 of his plants because of spider mites... those things are cruel...

While we're on the topic of stoner kitties, has anyone tried throwing a catnip plant under their grow lights?
I stuck a common house plant under them, and it perked up a little but nothing compared to the little girl. (at least I hope it's a girl :) )

HAHAHA omfg, i had to laugh at this. i think i might have woke my roommate up. 2 weeks ago i went down and bought a thing of catnip seeds, taped up an ice cream bucket and sprouted the seeds. there growing just like pot xD. i have them under my 1000W HPS in the flowering room, they love it........ i think the cats are going to love me this christmas.:eyesmoke:
