I would suspect nutrient toxicity, you should flush at least once a month to prevent the build up, they do look like they have hermied, I would remove them from the grow room as sickly plants attract disease and all sorts of other unwanted problems,Oops sorry didn't realize there was a section for that. I'll know for next time. PH tested at 6 a few days ago and I've been giving them full strength nutrients. Haven't flushes though. All my other plants are doing well just not these 2. Should I scrap them? Those aren't pollen sacs?
Alright was just seeing if anything could be done but guess I'll know for next time, thanks.I would suspect nutrient toxicity, you should flush at least once a month to prevent the build up, they do look like they have hermied, I would remove them from the grow room as sickly plants attract disease and all sorts of other unwanted problems,
Thank youI moved this here to mj plant problem section
Thanks for the reply!High Raviel
You got serious toxic salts buildup and heat stress going on. Flush 'em and flush 'em good. It's built up right into some of the buds. By week 5 you should be backing way off on the nutes with just some bloom boosters and maybe half dose calmag.
What kind of water do you use? Tap water often is the culprit for a lot of the salts and when you are feeding full strength it's just too much.
Are these all the same strain? Clones or from seed?
I have one of my four burning bad so she's was flushed a few days ago and she's the same strain as the others but being F1 plants and from seed she's one who can't handle as much as the others that have just a touch of burn and all got partial flushes. Big colas on all of them and looking like a week maybe two on them. Think I'll take the burnt one down in a few days or so. Sampled her and she's got a good buzz.
Back the lights up a bit to reduce the heat stress as well.
Not really taking her down early. She's done. Trichs are getting cloudy, hairs are all red. I figure that's why she reacted badly to the same food and quantity as the others because she's a faster finisher and I should have been cutting her back earlier. It was the first run with these and part of a breeding project so I pushed pretty hard and took notes for the next run so I can dial them in better. She may be the breed mother for the next run as she is carrying F2 seeds and the small buds I sampled are damn nice. That's too bad you gotta take one down early. Hopefully you can get something out of it!
I don't think they are hermies but can't tell from the pics for sure. When they are burning like that the buds get all f'ed up and the hairs die and curl up. Should be able to see the hairs still on the buggered buds. If they're well flushed they should come back with a smaller yield but still better than tossing them out in the home stretch. Look really close for 'nanners and if you don't find any put 'em back in for the finish. Here is a picture of the ones (I believe) are doing well vs the ones that I pulled from the room in fear that they are hermi's. Just thought it was odd that all the ones I pulled were from the same dispensary. Could the mites have caused this? It was taken care of in the veg stage though.
