a friend once sang this at the top of his lungs to some whiny "wait for me" chick as we were all running from the cops that crashed our high school keg party in the woods. it was funny because the chick ended up getting caught and she was then tortured by the song until she left for college 2 years later.

End of 60's early 70's It was all about Vietnam first the war then the protest. Not sure it was the best time to be a young man but the weed was good
