I think the standard app only goes down to minutes of runtime, so it might have to be 1 minute every 4 hours. I use node-red to do my scheduling and it can do seconds, and I think many other of the home automation software projects can do seconds as well.

thanks noodle-led,

Looks like Im going to have to get a flow regulator and let it run for 1 minute, just slooooowwww,lol.. Right now Im manually turning it on for 15 second, takes 1 minute per/gallon.

was just curious, Im going to be using the 4chanPro Sonoff for my build and got a couple extra single units, thought to use it for the dripper.

Thanks again for your time bro,

hey guys, can i use the sonoff for my irrigation needs? Like, 15 seconds every 4 hours type set-up?
With a flashed Sonoff and Home Assistant, you could make as many automations (on or off) as you need. Pretty sure it can go down to the second but I'd imagine there would start to be problems with intervals that short. 5/10 seconds would probably be more reasonable.

hey guys, got a question.

I will be using the sonoff 4 chan pro for my build.

Im also using a AC fuse/power switch,

Now, The switch has Line, Ground and neutral, but the Sonoff only has line and neutral. What do i do with the ground coming off the switch?

Just want to make sure this is correct.

everything else is straight forward, just want to see what you pros know about this.

Thanks

Oh, want to add, my drivers will be in contact with my box, which is aluminum sheet.

Hey mate!
Screw the ground wire coming from the wall plug to a metal surface of the housing. Though the driver case is already grounded it can not hurt to have a second grounding.

Did anyone get the motion and door sensors?
I just did an order from Itead.cc. I'm amazed on how inexpensive this tec is.
I'm excited for my items to arrive :) Any idea on how long it takes for your orders?
Cheers

Got help in another thread, but Ill post what Ive learned here. The ground Wire and Neutral both get straight lined connected to the driver. The ONLY wire that comes off the Sonoff output is the LINE (live). from the drivers.

That depends on which model you use. With Basic or Dual, "L" and "N" can/should be connected to the Sonoff and ground must be bypassed.

how would i hook up an extension cord? Need it for my growmau puck. I plan on cutting the end off, and using the output end to plug my growmau adapter into, to be controlled via Sonoff 4chan.

I presume 1 line to sonoff, the other to neutral coming off switch?

alot to this set-up,

Thanks

Im about to be...currently 5 x basics in flower tents, 1 x basic in veg tent. 1 x TH16 in veg tent .
Soon im putting a basic in my clone tent and TH10 in there also.
Just wanted to say thanks for the sonoff discussion... I had not heard of them before and had created some of my own custom timers... I like this tech, especially for the price... my 4 ch pro arrives today :)

Just started playing with it - doesn't appear to support a cycle timer function which I thought it would. I may check out home assistant to see if it can do what I need.
