I like going out...
I learn about myself more, the more people that I meet.

And what the fuck isn't fun about totally fucking with peoples' minds in public?
It comes own to, the more experiences that I have, the more fondly I remember life. Thus I am happy when I am alone to think. Something about being alone just doesn't sit well with me sometimes. I do make the most out of the solitude though

Its hard to have any kind of social life. As a grower in an illegal state you shouldn't tell anyone. In fact I would get a big angry dog. I had a few friends that didn't seem to care about my privacy and told others about the grow. It sucks when you have to end a friendship but the way I see it they weren't my friends because they didn't respect my wishes. In an unrelated story, one day I get home from work and the cops were at my house. My neighbor seen people breaking in the back window and called the law. These were people that I had over a few weeks earlier playing darts and drinking. It was a close call, I just put in an ionizer to stop the smell a week earlier. I've also been robbed before by someone that I let stay with me. As a grower its best to adopt a reclusive lifestyle. loose lips,rippers,johnny law, all reasons not to talk about it.

Sigh..... ok I like games, one of my most recent ones is wearing headphones cranking the volume WAY up and attempting to have conversations with people. I try to gauge how close my response was by the look on their faces. I also jog during this hobby, sometimes faster, sometimes slower depending on how well I'm scoring.

If you know I grow you don't know where I live and vice versa. I always thought how terrible I'd feel if a friend of mind had to rat me out to save themselves. So to save my friends from any angst about this I never share where I grow. It helps that only 1 person on here knows where I live. I also know where he lives, capisce?

I think it would hurt worse to get popped in that state, have it go legal and you still get to serve your sentence because when you were popped prior to legalization?

There was a lot of marijuana related amnesty when things went legal in Colorado.

Sure that only makes sense, but we've been doing it for a long time, where we are at, you kinda get woven in to your society, family and friends. I love my state, I just don't agree with my state's drug policy. I'm not going to say I grow for profit, but it is nice to be paid for your services. I guess really, I am just jealous. But I do believe when shit gets rough don't run from you problems. Face them and try to change and adapt. I haven't gone to all these meetings and marchs for all these years for nothing, right?

Yup I understand. These type of decisions are never easy. I was just pointing out that legislation isn't always retroactive and that is important to know. I wish you luck and hope nothing bad happens for you and your family.

Understood - I've lived here for 15 or so, but I also moved around as a kid (Dad was USAF) and then I did something silly and joined the CG & did 24 - moved every 4-6ish years. Though making connections in a new community would be likely tougher at this age than that.
But now that we're protected by a couple of layers of state law I think I'll relax a little. :cool:

Your an old man! You live up north! Did I profile that right? You make the coast guard sound like prison. It must have been hard to not be able to control your own life and have others decide what you can and cant do. Wait a minute...... Isn't that whats happening to all of us right now?

@kmog33 You'd have no problem LOL (based on posted photos) and at your age, you're perfect for the cultural climate here. How much time have you spent here?

If I were you I'd visit first to get the feeling of it. It is a great city in many repeats. Traffic is horrible but it's green year round and if you don't mind the rain (incidentally we don't get any more or less rainfall than most states, it's just that it drizzles rather than RAINS) you would find quite a lot of good things here. The economy is actually pretty sound compared to the national average. (Listen to me, I've morphed into a travel brochure )

I spent a lot of time there last year, was dating a girl up there. I love it, i would probably buy a house just outside of Seattle and get a decent amount of land on the cheap lol. I feel like i was looking at 3 bedroom houses on fairly large properties for like 200,000. Which is insanely cheap compared to here where its like 2 mill for a tiny apartment. My ex lives in Everett.
