So ok, I think I got everything the I need... a 3X3 ebb and flow
A 600 w Hps and MH bulb lamb with ex..fan...ballast...
hydrofarm habitat 4x4...rockwool starters...starter dome...co2 boost...all the chemicals from botanicare,,,up down ph ... carbon filter...ph meter...buckets...seeds...white widow amsterdam...high in bag seeds... to start though I only germinated a large amount of middies seeds I had... to practice and screw up on...

Today is sunday.... I purchased everything for my set up at once... I spent 2 grand at a local hydro shop. They didn't have everything in stock so I have to pick up the rest on wed.

I already started the middies seeds in the dome and they are already popping out of the surface... they are in the dome over a seed heat pad with a 40w aquarium light over it on two milk crates.

I would appreciate any advice . I will be posting with pictures on wed of my set up.

this took me all day and i am exhausted but i finally have the system set up...
there were so many things that I didn't know. I basically took the whole day and just tried to figure it out... a bit of trial and error and a few lucky guesses later and I think that I have done it... I am using this hydrofarm habitat...the new version not the old with all of the problems. a ebb and flow 3x3 which I didn't know how much to fill with water...then I didn't know that I had to use the timer. Something else was wrong I don't know what but the damn thing overflowed onto the floor of the habitat about 3 gallons before I could stop it. was a mess to clean up... I had to take more Marinol.
Anyway...as you can see if my pictures upload right... only one seedling looks like it will make it from my first attempt to germinate on the middies seeds.... I ruined the rest I think with to much water and the light was to close. Thats what they were for though for me to screw up on before my white widow arrives from the dam. a little worried about electricity usage ....

You got a really strong light there i think other people are gonna tell you you're gonna be able to grow a lot of bud with that type of light.
you're just starting out and u only have one seed making it so right now your not really using it to its full potential if u get what i mean .

now that I know more about how the thing works, I don't know why it overflowed.
So I have become paranoid about uploading pics. everything is going well with the one plant that survived me and my initial ignorance.
It is starting to take off... conditions inside my grow room are perfect... can't wait for my damn seeds to arrive.

I have about ten plants now in my ebb and flow... but i do have a few questions...
how long must you wait before transferring seedlings from dome to ebb and flow? I did a few with the first sign of leaves...not those two original leaves but the first true leaves...
then next question i read first online some guy said that he had his timer set to flood and drain every 15 minutes... its been a week and my first plant has been doing great .. really taking off but I have the timer set to flood and drain every 15 minutes... I read on online today that that is too much... but the plants seem to be doing ok... should I change it? part of me feels like if it aint broke...
