im really interested in doing SOG. but at the same time i just want to try growing 1 plant with a reg. light cycle. im torn! haha

damnn. i got too drunk last night and accidently turned my timer off so i could take my plants out and water them and i forgot to turn it back onn! i ended up giving them like 18 hours of darkk.

i havent seen much growth in the past few days. i really havent even had to move my lights at all. just rotate the plants

i been gathering more equipment for my growroom im designing got a used dehumidifier for free and some more lights from salvage yard this weekend

Nice! I can't wait till I can get more lights in there or actually have enough freetime to do a makeover on my grow box. But I guess since it Aint broke, don't fix it. Haha

I think you shouldn't waste your time growing 1 or 2 plants at a time. not to be an a$$hole but, you will be really disappointed when you harvest. spend some money and get a nice 600watt hps, or even a 400watt hps. you can buy seeds in 5s and 10s. so you should grow 5 or 10 at a time. you can do this easy under a 600watt or even a 400 but the yield will be lower than that of the 600watt when doing 10 plants. as for perpetual growing, as i do, you will need at minimum 2 400watt hps lights and 2 grow tents to do 5 plants a month. you would be better off with my setup, 2 600watt hps and 2 56x56x78 tents, my vegging is done in the open in the room my tents are in. i harvest 10 plants a month at average 2oz per plant. point of the story is....save the money and buy the right equipment. if you want a kicka$$ setup for hobby growing, go to htgsupply.com and get a complete grow kit for 400-600 dollars. it comes with all but seeds and nutes i believe, so figure 200 more for nutes. fyi i use only sensi grow, sensi bloom, voodoo juice, b-52, and i correct the ph before watering. do it right and you will be happy in the end. it will be the best thousand dollars you ever spend. otherwise the plants do look very good, congrats. happy growing to you all, and happy halloween!

well im sure after he gets a few grows under his belt he will step up to the plate with bigger grows with more power but for now he is experimenting and getting a feel for it
and im sure when he does move up he will ask for some advice

hows it going soplain? very smart of you i started with 15 didnt work out well next grow im cutting back...cant wait to see pics as well

I'm growing one or two at a time so ....should i just give up??? Why would Soplain or anyone else be disappointed in a successful grow? even if it is just one of two....IMO i would rather perfect my art on one or two....if I f up then only a few get hurt in the process...not more especially just starting out...? some people?
