Sorry Lake County Growers - Measure N to repeal new restrictions did not get repealed

No one's posted it yet so just thought I would... the new rules did not get overturned. A setback for growers rights.

Big Ag getting that shit on lock, pushing the little guy out. Setting it up so that only wealthy families with lots of land can grow their medication.

How did Big Ag make individual voters shut this down? More likely the result of a low turnout election.

Big Ag=Big money
Setting the rules up to only allow those with Big Money to grow(by owning massive amounts of land to grow a couple of plants)
All these farmers in the area and huge amounts of land. No doubt they will try to make a quick grab if they can, just follow the money

First of all the op's conclusions are some what premature in that there are 6,000 more votes yet to count.
Secondly with that 6,000 more votes it brings our local turn out to over 40%, (that,s one of the biggest percentage turn outs in the state), so only just under 10,000 votes have been counted so far out of the just under 16,000 that were cast.
Thirdly, the county ordinance in question was designed to get cannabis people to simply move out of the county
It should also be known that it is the 'norml' initiative measure proposed for the November ballot that seeks to empower big wealthy growers and squeeze out the little fish.
Our Freedom to Garden measure seeks to restore the human rights of all Lake county residents and we will be competing with the norml measure on the coming November ballot.

Fight the good fight! California has the best weed because of it's diversity in genetics, don't let the big guys take over! Look at what a shit hole Canada's system has become since they sold out to big money and kicked out the little guys. Most growers in NorCal have more diversity in their garden than those guys have in their entire warehouses!

You all want that to pass in Nov. need to get out and register to vote, if you have a State ID they have you on "the list"
Talk to people you meet people you know.
Take an active part in this or be persecuted and post your woes on Face Book.
If California passes a law allowing us to have it, your county can still shut your shit down.
I've been registering new voters and talking to every one that will listen, an posting on FB.
Take a stand it feels good.

Registering voters is definitely a key part to shifting the voting demographic in Lake County and so far we have registered 1,000 new voters while we were signature gathering...the county gov doesn't like such activity because it messes up their status quot voting block that has kept them in business for so long here.
We hope to register another 1,000 before November
We hope that other people in neighboring counties see our effort and read our measure and put something like it on the ballot...please stand up for human rights:

Their fucking it up in michigan too to take the little guys rights and give it to the dispensaries ....for tax and regulate purposes.......
--and the lawyers get to make all the loot setting up these distribution models......

NORML......?? Pffffffft.....they've had 40yrs to help.....what have they done?

(Made alot of $$for the lawyers involved and now they are in the prime position to profit off the rest of the equation.....its all been about 'positioning' for themselves and their wealthy donors they represent)

Cal Norml is just a sell out. I wish we could write a law that didn't require a lawyer to interpret it for us.
That's the big problem with all the fancy dance writing that goes into anything those assholes do!
Then they come back and go oh we didn't mean you to take it that way what we ment was if you proceed you'll need a lawyer!!
And go to jail if you don't.
