Hey thanks! I was looking at reservas sour d. Seems like that's about the only strait sour d I can get from the tude. What I want to know is reservas any good compared to the real deal sour d?
I want to know your thoughts without staying in the box of thought I offered.

rp's sour d looks to be pretty solid from reading about it hic, although i've never grown it personally nor do i know of anyone who has, i'm a pretty big sour d fan myself..
the cali con also has a sour d that looks to be pretty solid that is definitely worth taking a look at as well imo..
i'd say either the rp or the cc sour d would definitely be worth a grow or two..

soma's nyc diesel came from the original sour diesel and he did a lot of work to stabalize it only problem is its not cheap.I haven't tried it yet but she's on my to grow list. lol,

forgot to mention it in my earlier post hic, but dr greenthumbs has a way bomb version of sour d that i've heard from 2 different buy very reliable sources on here..

check out dr grubers grow journal on here for it, he killed it and said it was incredible smoke i do believe.. also know that wyteberry widow on here grew it as well as was super impressed.. the nice thing about hearing wbw say it is that he was a pretty big hater in drgt's until he grew out his diesel that is so i tend to take his word on it as he's not trying to blow smoke up anyone's ass if you no what i mean..

i've heard a lot of mixed reviews on soma's version blunt.. i have heard that it's not very diesel tasting, ie, not really fuelly and funky like most sour d's tend to be.. i was looking into getting that strain for awhile but had changed my mind after hearing mixed reviews on it after asking over in the seed collector's thread..soma's nyc diesel came from the original sour diesel and he did a lot of work to stabalize it only problem is its not cheap.I haven't tried it yet but she's on my to grow list. lol,

man, now i'm confused, lol.. seedfinder.eu is giving the lineage for soma's as having the chemdawg in it, the same as what's in cali con's original sour diesel..

but even though seedfinder.eu lists the lineage of soma's nycd, soma himself said he got it from a bag seed from a dread locked friend and isn't sure of the correct lineage..
but yeah, i've heard the same thing about soma's, it lacks that sour d taste and smell and lands more on the grapefruit side of things instead of that fuely funk..
somas was a supposed diesel bagseed crossed with a hawaiian afghani. apparently he lost his original mothers though and had to start over. the description I think is mexican x afghan hawaiian

I just chopped half my Cali Connect original sour d, which used AJs cut. Not for you if you're impatient. Chopped half at day 85 with mostly clear trichs, letting the rest go to day 95 days. Solid bud, solid nugs. sour fuely smell but inhale is almost 100% pine with a hint of sour. Mmm, my mouth waters just thinking about it. Potency is off the charts, longest high I've had from flower was about 2.5 hours of peaked feeling and that was some Super Lemon Haze. This sour keeps me peaked 4+ hours after one bowl, super heady. Great wake n bake. I smoke a lot of weed, like a looooot of bud, most high quality keeps me high about an hour,max. This is unheard of. I'll post a proper review after its all chopped and cured.
Wow bro yours went long. Mine were all done by day 80 max, lots of amber on 'em. I agree about the high... I always hear "I'm still fucked up from earlier" from my boys when I go to light up another. I don't really know what sour is but my boy says my one pheno is close to what he used to get on his sour pickups. We've only tried 2 of the 4 though..

in soma's book he says a friend gave him seeds in 97 and said they came from the best weed he ever smoked. and the guy got the weed from nyc and said it was sour diesel. he grew them out and they where all female he selected mothers crossed them with his afghan x hawaiian male. then he backcrossed them and stabilized them and came out with nyc diesel in 99.
so thats what soma has to say about it anyway but he did stablize it to have a grape fruit diesel taste but he does claim it was sour diesel. atleast thats what he says in "Organic Marijuana Soma Style" so I believe it.
but no way he used chemdog. lol
