Sourcing Seeds in Oaxaca?

I'll be visiting Oaxaca de Juarez for a few days pretty soon - mostly to visit but was wondering how hard it would be to find some really unique seeds (ie. landraces, if possible). Any advice on where to look?

I imagine anything bought on the street would just be regular stuff, but was wondering if there were any specific places to ask around.

PS - If anyone has advice on cool nature stuff to see around Oaxaca de Juarez, or things to do, please share as well

As someone who travels mx frequently this is great advice.

Visit the magic towns like Mazunte or San Pablo Villa Mitla. If the opportunity presents itself in an organic way (don’t seek it out so much, let it find you) maybe someone you meet will offer you hualta.

Thanks, I'll look into those two cities. True, best to let it occur organically.

Someone here or on the other place you asked is from there and starting a seed company he has a facebook page too I looked at it do a search or two. That is what I would do.
