Hi guys,

First time grower. Have no idea what seed variety I have planted but I have planted seven plants in one pot.

Planted on March 15 2013.

Climate: warm and humid currently 30C in the day 21C in the night, no frost nothing.

Light: Currently have a 12h day and a 12 h night. Days will continue to get longer and hotter, max temp will hit in may, about 38C so temperature pretty moderated throughout the year, close to the sea.

Weedling Description: Two inches in height already, some a little smaller. Planning on planting more as I was just going to see if they even sprout. Have about 30 more seeds which is good because I got 100% germination on the first seven i planted. Problem is that these are not feminized seeds but thats ok because I plan on separating the males later and in any case will need seeds for next batch so some seeding in female will be tolerated.

GUYs, I just want tips, your suggestions and any information you can give me on how to take care of em, the best harvest possible and when to do what. I can post pictures and stuff if required.

In a week or I plan to move the weedlings into their own pots. Am growing on my house balcony so all growing has to be done in pots and covered with netting to protect from crows.

Suggestions, tips, info, please provide

The plants will start to flower when the daylight is around 12 to 13 hours of light.

Grow them inside under 60-100 watts of fluorescent 5000k spectrum lights. CFL's work great too. you should give them 13 hours or more of light while vegging inside and moving outside once the daylight is greater than 13 hours.

Also once they are on their 4th or 5th set of leaves you can "top" the plant to cause it to have 2 new main branches... Topping makes the plant bushier thus increasing the potential yield.

My plan is to move the plants out to separate pots once they become slightly larger. Obviously will move them with along with some soil base they are rooted into. I actually wanted to plant in separate pots but I outvoted.

Will it be a huge issue to move the plants later?

@BeastGrow; unfortunately growing inside is not an option at this point. Lack of space, lights etc. But I live in one of the sunniest places in the region and in about 2 weeks im going to see 13h days and then much longer, by June the night is only going to be 8 hours.

But my main question here is when do i look for and start getting rid of the males.

I would seperate them before the roots start to tangle then when you transplant they would go into shock from ripping the roots. js But yeah typical time to start looking for males would be late july-aug depending on strain really.

Oh and Im growing plants using seeds from seeded cannabis. It was a really mellow strain (heavily seeded). Is that OK?

you cant just dig up the plant and expect it to live when you tansplant it. theres a chance that they'll live through that, a "chance". its like sunbiz and fresnofarmer said.
