South Australian Outdoor (Spring Baby, Summer Mumma)

Hi all, Brand new to outdoor growing, 2 year experience indoor.
Just transplanted 5 day old baby from a shade house to the outdoor, with a net en closer surrounding the plant from my two dogs and any other unwanted animal.

As a growing medium ive selected Brunnings Potting Mix, using no nutes for the first 2 weeks. From there ill be using Miracle Grow plant food

This plants only job is to be a successful mother, and at the end of her life a few oz plant (not looking for A+ bud just a healthy plant i can clone)

Strain is unknown but i will be germinating a feminized chemdog tonight to go into my little seedling bay. ( Ordered from Green House Seed Co through Planetskunk, awesome postage but wow, 3 out of 4 haven't germinated and 1 started off with a slimy root and now after sterilized cleaning and re planting is growing extremely slowly, weather this be because germination was done in a incubator and rock wall medium.

Please post advice or reviews on my little outdoor grow op, and i will be updating on a weekly basis.

Cheers AussieSteve :twisted::mrgreen:bongsmilie

if i were you i would make the top pf the cage diamiter bigger then the bottom so it flares out to ward the top, but that look like hefty wire in that cage

also i date a kiwi NZ for ever

whats the season in Austrailia right now

im just hoping the hours of direct sunlight is enough for nice bud growth aswell as good plant development i think i get from 9-4 of direct light, ill be running some tests tomorrow on light patterns, when i flower im simply going to use a tarp at 7pm n lift it at 7am :)

Just placed pot on a 24 ltr bucket to get more of a chance at sunlight, not the best place to plant but the most safest, wind is picking up alot today which i hope not to see later in spring, still she looks healthy and has now got a stick to ensure she doesnt get owned by the windy nights.

Will update pics in a few days, not much point showing day by day prog :)

Bro that plant will start flowering in 4 weeks at about one foot(it will reveg after 2 months or so but the plant wont have same energy to flower twice). Next time wait till days are long enough not to trigger flowering, Oct 15 +.

easily out of one by and tarp you could biuld a dark tent but then moisture and stale air and ciculation would be a problem

yeah a little disappointed with the area ive chosen, due to the amount of light i get per day it will start to flower asap. forgetting outdoor for this moment in time. No other updates will be given :(

its amount of dark after that triggers flower, 12 hrs to be exact will be when it flips itself, the summer solstice . . . .?

how many hours of light do you have in Australia right now
