SpaceBucket MicroGrow

Yeah, the cob burns my hand at about 6-8" so I pretty much ruled it as being too intense for my small space. I'll probably look into some smaller CREEs like you're working with. Thanks man

So then should i get the 50 watt cree? because the plant will definitely be 6-8 inches even closer, to the light

I've noticed you can feel a bit of heat coming from those leds. Mine is quite warm at around 8cm. But becomes much less noticeable at around 16cm. Good thing it's tunable in output.

I can't wait to use it. It stays consistently 78-80℉ with lights on; the key to this being the air being pulled through the cfls, against the "glass," and out of the light top. The water in the soil should cool it down a tad bit more. Scrog net, strip leds, timer.

I popped my 6 week old, 12/12 from seed, random bag seed plant in the bucket just to see it in "action" lol. I'm satisfied with the light intensity for it only being 111 watts.

dude this is a really badass grow. Holy Shit, i've never seen anything like this before and I stay on Stealth grow section for the past few years. I have a PC Grow box that's in remission, it won't go up until I move. But could you send me a tek on the lights config, I was wanting to do something like that rather than have two power strips. Also check out my past grow journals.

-Cut (4) 4" sections of 16-2 lamp cord
-Splice the (4) sections to the (4) sockets
-Splice the (5) negative wires (plug cord included) together--Do same with positive wires
-Wire diy plug to lamp cord

Hope this helps friend

Thank you for the diagram and list dude, I really appreciate that. I understand what splicing is, but i have no idea what everything looks like so i'm lost. Do you have any pictures, or what should I search on Google? I haven't found anything on google yet.

Anyways that would save my ass. I'm re-doing my Pc case and have switched some things around. I added a second outtake fan on top, to bring out all the hot air. Last grow i couldn't have 5 lights without the temps going up into the 90's. I'm wanting to add one more cfl to make 138watts. plus i have a few LED lights but they're probably 15-20 watts each. With your method I would alternate them across the top of the case, that would let me lower the lights and as well make it a hella sturdier. I was holding up the power strip with duck tape, double sided scotch tape (the heavy duty 1lb) and zip ties. I just don't feel very secure with it like that. pretty much it would revolutionize my case and grow

Sure man. I'd be glad to show you the supplies and the exact wiring. I'll get that to you when I can, the same way I got you the diagram lol. Probably within a couple days. Have fun until then bro!

I hooked up some strip lighting on the first part of the bucket, which is from a little above the soon-to-be soil line to the light top. I can solder additional led strip to it when I increase the buckets height with the spacers. It should be a nice cozy environment for an auto flower.:bigjoint:
