This is my first grow but making this thread a little late in the game.

I vegged for about 14 days and now I'm on day 22 of flowering and things are looking good.

She's bagseed, looks like some kind of Sativa strain, any guesses?

How much you think I'll yield? The bud on the main cola right now is about an inch wide and she has about 8 satellite branches.

More info about my setup:

Nutes: Awesome Blossom (2-11-11) for flowering cycle and Miracle Grow [12-4-8] for veg.
Lights: 4 - 23watt CFLs
Soil: Scott's regular ass soil

I will try and keep this thread updated as much as I can, I will definitely post harvest pics when the time comes.

Any advice or words of support? :weed:

It's been almost two weeks since the first pics.

She's looking great. Getting bigger every day. I estimate another 3-4 weeks until harvest.

Hey man, thanks for checking out my grow journal. Yours look great, I hope you get some good stuff. +reps for having the same thermometer as me

What do you use the wired sensor for? For now Im hanging mine on the edge of one the pots so I can see how hot it is under the lights.

Nice cfl grow dood!! im only vegin with the cfls but they do werk tho! ill check this thread out a lil later tho!!!! KUDOS. and spread the love(seeds). hahhaha

I have the wired sensor hanging from the back of my lst rack so i could see what the temps were under the light as well! Great minds think alike. 8-)

hey spacemonkey first of all let me get you a well deserved +rep for your grow and your patience this sight can be kind of haterish if your not bragging about 1000 watt mh or hps and all the fancy shit for the guys that do it cheap and close to the vest were sort of like outcast lol the buds look great man im also doing cfl at the time but you only have 4 23 with that good looking bud bless you my man out..ppp

Firstly, let me say thank you for all the rep guys! If I didn't rep you back remind me and I shall do so. :bigjoint:

Now onto the plant, I think I overfed my girl a bit, instead of adding nutes every other watering I have been giving it nutes EVERY watering and I just realized it when my leaves started curling up and getting all brown and spotty. :-?

Look at the pics to see what I mean.

The question now is should I cut all those leaves that are turning brown and spotty? I already cut quite a few(see pics).

I have already taken counter measures by just feeding her a good amount of regular water. Let me know if there's anything else I can do! THANKS!

Ahhh man, lookin freakin NICE!!! I don't have much to say on your thread cuz you gotter under control, but i been following. You gotta come post some of those select pics at the Micro Growers Tread sometime, lots a ppl there right now trying to get ideas for Micros. +rep.

Don't worry about cutting off any of those leaves and DEFINITELY don't give the plant extra nutes! If youre really close to harvesting you should stop giving them fertilzer and only regular water. I say about a 1.5 - 2 weeks before harvest STOP giving fertilizer. Other than that, nice work bro--keep it up.

Nice grow spacemonkey, lookin good. I am definitely subscribing to this one, and +rep for your words of encouragement! I think you will get at least a half oz off of her, but probably more. when you put the grate on top of the plant, isnt that called the scrogg method, or something like that?

Thanks for the rep! I'm hoping for at least an oz :mrgreen:

my fingers are crossed.

The grate on top the plant could be called doing the "scrog" or screen of green method, but its not really a screen if you want to get technical, I think it's more of a lst bonzai method, all I did was bend the main stem to keep it shorter so it didn't outgrow my box. All in all it worked out perfect, my main cola is half an inch away from the ceiling in the box.

Home depot is the place for all your ganja growing needs....well, almost. The awesome blossoms nutes I found through the internets. This site helped me find a local retail flower shop that carried more than just MG ;-)

Update

So I've been trimming her up and just feeding her plain water. The spots have slowed down if not all the way, some leaves keep dying but I figure she's close to the finish line so I'm not too worried.

Today is day 48 of flower which brings the total day count from seed to.....day 63 approx. ;-)

I'm really hoping to see more red hairs this week and next. Hopefully finished by next week....I'm itching to smoke her. :eyesmoke:

SMM she is beautiful! i dont blame you for wanting to smoke her, that seems to be the hardest part is resisiting smoking 'em before their time. She has what, about 2 more weeks before you harvest? That will be some good christmas smoke!
