Hi jorge,Very, very nice. I've been looking everywhere for some 2700k 90 CRI 1818s. That 80/20 is such nice looking stuff.
Hey this is a big ask, but is there any way you can compare a 3590 to 1825 at the same wattage? I don't know if that's even possible for you, but it would surely be interesting. Especially with the different numbers from Bobby and robin's tests.
Well, yeah. As long you let everything heat up and temps stabilize, and match watts (preferably on the same heat sink), that is a fair and practical test between two cobs.Hi jorge,
i have two ELG-150-C1400b here which i dont use, the test report from this driver says CONSTANT CURRENT REGION:24V-108V
So i could just connect one 1825 to one driver and the cxb to a other driver and then i dimm then to the same wattage. What do you think? should i try it out this way?
Me too, my friend.I am still trying to get clarification on the real difference between the CLU550 and the CLU058. I understand the # of dies is different but the tool is linked to gen 4? And right now all the people I want to talk to are on vacation. I should know more Monday if I have time to call.
i will do tomorrow the tests, today i worked pretty hard. My friend moved to a new home, so we had to work muchWell, yeah. As long you let everything heat up and temps stabilize, and match watts (preferably on the same heat sink), that is a fair and practical test between two cobs.[/QUOTE
hm i dont know really, but u can search all components in the internet and then you can calculate it.Roughly what does it cost to build a 20 CXB3590 lamp for a 4x4?
Might as well, I guess. 31W is not right, though. Did you try switching drivers? The test report is just one driver, but the data sheet says 54V-107V Constant Current range.@JorgeGonzales
i prepared the stuff for comparing. Now after hooking the ELG-150-C1400b with one cxb 3590 3500k, i noticed it run only with 31watt max. from the wall
The clu058 works normally it use around 78 watt with the driver. I dont know why the cxb 3590 runs only around 31watt :/
So at the moment i can compare them only at 30watt from the wall, what do you think still worth to test or?
yes with 2 others(same model), still same problemDid you try switching drivers?
yeah://The test report is just one driver, but the data sheet says 54V-107V Constant Current range.
Jorge can you make me please a footprint chart like last time, but this time with 7points*7 pointsI think one measurement dead center from the same distance should be enough, since both cobs radiate in the same pattern.
Inside a reflective tent the measurements might be sensitive to distance from walls too, so make sure they are placed the same in 3d space...this stuff is hard.
Sure, but probably tomorrow, since I'm on my way out. I barely know how to use Excel by the way, I used google sheets for that and just kind of made it up as I went along.Jorge can you make me please a footprint chart like last time, but this time with 7points*7 points
I was not able to edit ur old chart, i dont knwo how to work with excel
Its pretty easy to place the cobs to the same postion, i just need too slide the one heatsink to left and the other too. its pretty accurate with this system i think.
