I am in the market for more led power, one way or another. I started with the magnumplus, then add the magnumplus2, and now was able to use the Sol9 900 watt panel. The mag+ is over 3 years old with continues use ( they quickly sent me new 2 new power supplies when needed), the mag+2 was rebuilt into a larger housing within a month of receiving ( just now is needing a power supply and mailing in tomorrow), and the Sol9, due to disagreement with buyer, is gone with less than 5 months testing. The Sol9 did loss 1 and a half chipset in 4 months. The light did show promise, though my first try at dwc and rockwool cubes was a mess, trying to adjust ph with the drops. I did have 4 in coco that even with the bad ph, averaged 26 grams per plant ( they were sitting in 2g bags at the edge of a 5'x5' area, full that would be 16 to 23 2g bags).
Now I like to watch ledmagazine.com's product and news section. Semlight has an outdoor floodlight that is 4 50 watt bridgelux or cree chipsets, 110-130 lm/w. The colors are warm white, daylight, and pure white. And the use meanwell drivers. I was thinking the 2 outer chips warm white, and the middle one daylight and one pure white. What do you think?
All top quality components. I would still tear it down and make sure I'm happy. But for under $400.
