spectrum guys 200 watt fixture

I would be looking at $1400 for 600w shipped to my door. I have found a flood light using Veros, that is made in the US, but they only come in 5000k. That unit is just under $600. Good for vegging.

That ALL-cree built panel isn't looking too bad now is it for the money???............just wish it was a tad warmer temp. But 4000k should still do well straight through looking at Mr. flux calculations on the 5000k cree home depot bulb. Can always add some cree 2700k warm "white" bulbs to the side to boost in flower.

IDK so many options nowadays..............would love to try them all!!ha

The CXB baylight may be all Cree-built but it's just not very efficient. Think of CXB as the the B-version of the CXA... It's also a high baylight so likely very tight light cone. Some months ago I saw here a Chinese made baylight with about 20 smaller CXA COBs and parabolic little reflectors for each COB, it looked pretty spiff for use as a grow light. There was also a youtube video with some guys standing on a roof and shining it down, with a MH for comparison. Just can't find it anymore.

Hence the price .............figured they had to cut corners somewhere........bummer

You could build a bridglux vero based LED panel pretty simply. The Vero 18's are only about $15 each on digikey, meanwell LPC drivers are $15-20 on jameco, then CPU coolers and thermal adhesive can be found on amazon for $10-20 and $5 respectively. $50-70 for 30-60 watts of LED power and you can spread them out better. No mystery china parts.

Bridgelux makes life easy. Pick the color, pick the CRI, and be done with it.

If I wasn't flooded with projects (house, truck, yard, etc.) I would be all over a diy build. But I also have a friend with a hydro store that could sell these. So far with rush order, the shipping is around $100 shipping each. If I do a bulk order it will be a lot less, and will come by boat. I am guessing I can resell for under $500 each. With 2 warm, 1 daylight, and 1 pure white chipset, I get a great looking spectrum (Bridgelux graph on there spectrums). I haven't found another fixture that allows this full spectrum. This blend should also work great for outdoor lighting. Meaning I can also sell them as they were designed. Unless I get a preorder from friends, I'm getting 3 to test for one grow, before setting up a large order. They do come with a 3 year warranty. Gather money at this moment. Hope to get these order by next week.

about $50 each or $700 for a 600 watt array. No soldering or drilling required, practically plug and play.

If I were to go that route, I would mount them into an air-cooled Raptor hood or similar. Bringing my cost up. These 200w units will work better for me and my room. And being able to sell them as there intended use makes it worth the cost to me. My cost with a bulk order will be around $400. I just want to spread the light not make a fortune on one or two light per month. I have a few friends with wharehouses that might also be interested.

I might have found someone to do a 3 way comparison. Rapidled at 250w, Semlight fixture at 200w, and a 250 hps.
