spending 1200 on complete grow tent

im getting money in july and spending around 1200 on setting up something in my garage .. this is what im thinking of getting
-grow tent that is around 4'x4'x7' that is steady.
-at least a 600 watt hps or mh or maybe a 1000 watt...
-cooltube? or good hood? (hot summer nights running those lights at night)
-Fans and lots of them
-carbon filter.. (ill prob make that)
-Hydro (dont know what type this time)
-Ozone generator (those things with those lights that turn odor into o2 and co2)
-continuous ppm/ph/temp meter

i might go to hollywood video cuz they are going bankrupt and buy one of those lowbay lights for 15-30 i dont know how many watts they are tho.. but i would use that as extra light on top of my 600w or 1000w. Im very creative and can turn it into a remote ballast.. i also have two 100w HPS lights as extra light maybe....

I plan on making my own hydro setup but dont know what setup would be best in this tent and light.. i was thinking 4-5 DWC buckets (maybe linked to one res ?) or maybe ebb and flow.. or i dont know what you guys think?? never did soil before should i try soil??

I prob want to do a screen of green with chicken wire gate and pvc.... Or i might try to have a mother in anther cabinet and try a sea of green ?? and i plan on ordering some seeds online but not sure of a good place ... let me know guys.. sorry i dont have internet but i have a friend that does that i go to... so ill be back later.....

1000w run very hot and if the garace isint cooled down, it's gonna run hot in there!
600w should be good.
Buy a good CanFan with a 400cfm inline fan and you wont need a ozone gen.
DWC is the way to go, fast, healty growth with massive white roots.
I would buy a 100GAL res at hydro store, they are 48" x 48" x 12", build a cover or buy one and you have the perfect 4x4 dwc or aero tub.
SOG is nice, is the way i am actually growing, youll need few mothers to have steady clones..

You've never grown in soil? Does that mean you've never grown at all... or you've only grown in hydro? Because it sounds like you're pretty well indecisive at the moment.

If you need lights, tents, nutes, plants.... everything. You're probably looking a lot more than $1200 to go hydro. I've been setting up my room and I've spent close to that much for a soil grow. I plan to do an aero setup eventually but it was just way to expensive to jump right into, especially factoring in the unknowns of a new system.

I'D GO WITH THE 600WATTHPS. IT WILL BE PLENTY OF LIGHT FOR A 4X4X7 TENT MAN. A GOOD SEED BANK IS "Attitude Seedbank". A COUPLE OF MY FRIENDS SAID THEY GOT THERE SEEDS PRETTY QUICK & CHEAP! USA SHIPMENT.

SOIL IS ALOT EASIER TO GROW THAN HYDROPONIC IF YOU LACK THE EXPERIANCE. JUST SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT BUDDY

I have had 2 complete grows that ended a little smaller then i hoped due to hight restrictions and not enough light... first grow was 15 cfl lights in 3x2x3 ... second time was two 100 watt hps lights in about same area... I just first decided to start hydro since im more of a person that likes to make stuff and try new things... and have come to love hydro ...

how i figured it would cost would be .. 200-250 for grow tent
-grow tent - 200-250
-light and hood 250 -300
-carbon filter or ozone generator -75- 150
-Fans 100-250
-Hydro ( like four 5 gal buckets, net pot, air stones,) 25
-continuous ppm/ph/temp meter - 225

thats tops around 1300 which i dont think i will pay that much.. i can get a complete setup at my local hydro shop for like 800$ for tent, lights, small ebb and flow, table, fan, carbon filter, light yoyos, starter nutes, pumps, hoses and all... but i want more then that set up plus i have some of that stuff.. so if i want cheaper then i can get that but i want mine upgraded ....

ive never kept a mother plant before but that sounds real easy and i have a good cabinet that is maybe 3'x2'x6' that would be good for a mother with tube lights in there.. and another spot in there to keep clones with a smaller tube light or one or two cfls...

and i have all my nutes, hydrotone balls, air pumps, water pumps, lots of knowledge and thanks for the tip on the seed site ill check them out.. ganna be looking soon get my money in like 40 days....... ahhhhh cant wait...
