(Garden notes... Since I forgot to write them down last night...)
3/13/14 - Removed suckers from bottom node of each main stem, and tied down tallest mains to even out canopy. Estimate approx 10 days until flower time. Prune again circa 3/19/14, begin flower circa 3/24/14.

Subcool says Vortex works best when grown into a wide, sagging bush... Six saggy bushes, coming right up!

This is just my second time mainlining, so I'm no expert. I like how they're shaping up, though. It's just going to take a lot of twisty ties and stakes to hold all those branches in place.

I'll see what I can do. I'm not usually keen on pictures but I might put one up for an hour or so. I'll let you know once I've got the picture so you can be online when I do it. I'm pretty paranoid. I know the local yokals aren't cruisin through here and the feds don't care much about anything on here except to see what the packages look like when they get shipped here and the dudes that want to show off their 100+ plants..... So... Idk it makes me itch but we can do it. One is in a scrog and one is just pulled all over the place. I don't have a lot of headroom to work with so I'm having to really sprawl her out. mmm

Hyroot - Other than the one Vortex that refused to show sex, all the TGA seeds I've run have shown sex at around 24-30 days since sprouts popped above soil (24/0 or 18/6 lighting). I use a 30x jeweler's loupe to inspect the tiny preflowers closely. At that point the female preflowers don't have pistils yet, but I can tell by their teardrop shape. The fem preflowers also tend to stick straight up (hugging the main stalk), while the male preflowers often stick out kinda sideways from the node.

Another shot of the garden from yesterday morning. They are definitely in blast off veg mode; praying hard to their twin metal halide gods. Today is day 52 of veg, pic was taken on day 51. Seems like 8 weeks veg should do the trick.
