Hey guys I'm running a few spider farmer se3000s in my 4x8 tent. I just wanted to get some feedback from people using these lights. I just want a general consensus on hanging heights. How high are you guys hanging your lights above your plants they say you can get them as close as 6 in but that seems really close. I'm in mid veg right now and have them about 15 in above my plants. I don't know what are you guys think?

To be truthful, I keep it 12 inches above the canopy regardless of of whether they are at 50 or 100% power. Good luck..

I have 2 SE 5000s in my 4x8. I would say don't go by hanging height, but use a PAR meter or app to judge. I think it's more helpful that way. If you search my name there is a couple threads I posted with PAR levels and reviews on PAR meters.
