The webbing is inside the buds
How does this affect the buds and what can/should I do? The plants are ripe enough for harvest now, the plan was to lower the ppm over the next 3 days but I’ll cut them now if needed!
I would wash mine in your situation. Look up H202 wash.
You can take em anytime that isn't reversible and I would fix the environment that prompted them
That’s annoying. It’s my first proper grow and I only have 2 plants so I’ll be harvesting them at the same time to ensure this doesn’t happen. They’re currently 1 day off 9 weeks into flower.
All good responses from fellow members. The vacuum thing definitely try. You could spray wi a garden hose from the underside/topside. Or wash your buds after you chop. It's really easy. 1 five gallon bucket of 90 degrees F, water with half cup of baking soda n half cup of real lemon juice.. Do a twist n shake for 20-30 seconds. Then 2 more 5 gallon buckets of cool water for a final rinse. Swing the buds around like it's a cat by the tail. Then hang with a light breeze, and then continue dry and cure as normal. You will shit when you see the dirty water of the first bucket, and what was actually on your buds..
Hey, I’ve seen a couple people talking about this, there’s just one thing. Where I live is Au is always pretty humid (doesn’t go under 40-50 very often). If I washed the buds and hung them up to dry in say 55% humidity, is this a for sure way to cause mould and should I stray from washing them?
If you wash, would use increased or light direct airflow for the first day hanging then go normal. I been drying at 60% for 17-18 days now.
No just keep the air moving with a fan.
Yes for the first 24 hrs after a wash, i do put my oscillating fan on medium which is more than usual. Then a very, very light breeze for 5-9 more days in a dark room. My RH fluctuations through out the year makes me bird dog my drying buds even more.
