Spider mites half way through flower-What to do?

just noticing the beginnings of a spider mite infestation half way into flower. I dont want to use foliar spray or foggers because I feel like it collapses pistols and reduces yeilds and might hurt quality or taste of crop. I put in lady bugs but I don't think they're getting rid of the mites.

how did u release the ladybugs? u should do it at night when theyre dormant. also spray them with a mix of half soda and half water. when it dries, the sugar holds their wings shut for 3-4 days. this makes them stay around, and gives a higher chance to lay eggs. when the eggs hatch, they see where they were born as 'home' and tend not to leave. u should google ladybug larva so u dont accidentally kill em when they come around. they look nothing like ladybugs so some ppl think theyre pests

The alternative is to stand by and watch your hard work disappear. Neem tree oil will help you finish the plants, then you have a cleanup project to do. My first encounter was unpleasant to say the least. Lesson learned.

How long ago did you put in the lady bugs?
I've used lady bugs 3 times, and neem these past two times, and I'd have to say that I prefer lady bugs.

i just found this. im gonna make some and brush it on my leaves later today when i get yeast

A way to encourage beneficial insects is to spray a mixture called "Wheast" in your garden. It is usually a mixture of yeast, whey or sugar, and water and it is an attractive food for Ladybugs and Green Lacewings. You can either make your own, or purchase a mix. A basic wheast recipe is as follows:

1 part sugar
1 part yeast

Mix sugar and yeast with water to make a thin paste. Apply to leaves. Or, add more water to apply by spray bottle.

edit: heres something else i found

Wipe wheast on sticks and place in ladybug enclosure. Wheast is a food supplement that can be purchased or easily made at home. To make homemade wheast, mix equal parts of yeast, honey or sugar and water. Paint thicker wheast paste on wooden sticks or dilute with water and spray on foliage.

I would take evry plant out, then i would take a cleaning lump and dunk it in to the water you prepared with the foliar spray.

gently clean the bottom of the leafs, if you want you can use your hands to protect the buds... Dont use leafs for hash making as your are very far in to flowering now, and basicly should of sprayed your plants the first week so that when the offspring is born and they lay eggs that the born children will be disabled and cant lay eggs...

Fuck all the bullshit and go get a No Pest Strip (active ingredient is Dichorvos). I did some research and will share it with you

https://www.rollitup.org/general-marijuana-growing/444728-spider-mites-week-8-flower-2.html

Start at post #18 and read thread and the source info. Then make a choice whether or not they are right for you. I will say that they definitely work.

Also here's a youtube video link from Sub addressing the No Pest Strips @ the 5:30 mark

Hope this helps.
