yes you will, the strips do kill off most of the mites but some alwaysI agree with grow plenty - Hot Shot Not Pest strips - about $8 at most hardware stores. It looks like an air freshener, but gives off bug-toxic vapor (not so good for you either). Use it for a few days with your cab/room all sealed up - no fans, no vents, no HID lights. Use or put in a couple of cfls to maintain the light cycle. After a few days, vent it good, seal up the No-Pest strip in a bag and save it if you ever see them again.
But you won't.
survive and a few months later they apear again.
different strains of plant have better resistance to mites, the faster you can get to harvest the better, the mites will have less time to attack your plants so grow a fast finishing strain, the mites like low humidity, dry and dusty conditions, high humidity slows them down as do low temperatures
neem oil slows them down as well, get it from an asian supermarket lots cheeper than growshops etc, mix with an emulsifier and water and spray the plants regularly. try not to overcrowd your grow space, yes i know you try to get the maximum yield from whatever area you have, but 4 healthy plants may yield more than 8 sick ones. the no pest strips do work as good as anything else i have tried if not better. you can get them in the usa.
