hey everyone
i had to leave my ladies for a few days and somehow i got completly infested with spider mites. webs and everything.
i killed as many as i could with alcohol and started neem spraying them but im just curious if they die when i harvest or if they will continue to live and chow down on my nuggets.

i got a mite infestation in flowering and used a vacuum to suck them off. it was very effective! i'd have to vacuum every other day or so to keep them in check. i would use the hose attatchment and just come down directly on each nug.

they die after you chop. hanging upside down is fun, as they will accumulate at the new "top" of the plant, ie, the bare stem. then they starve to death :)

also, after drying, any webs left are easily removed with fingers or a toothpick.

There is simply only one complete way to deal with spider mites because they lay dormant and grow resistant to things. NO PEST STRIPS. YOU WILL NEVER SEE THEM AGAIN. When your tired of all the different little ways to deal with them, after youve tried them all (or now) there is sanctuary ...

Theres also one other way its called AZAMAX...

That stuff is great but really really expensive. I just had war with some mites sent in about 500 ladybugs and than sprayed them with this stuff.

Just remember keep it clean and the eggs they lay hatch about every 5 days.

Good luck!:peace:

Nah bro. I had to go to wally world (wal-mart). I think they are now with the "hot shot" logo on the bag as well. These hang kind of like a odor freshener in the room. No smell. No bugs. Good luck.
