Spider mites on clones

So after a short break from growing I'm about to start back up. I gave my favorite strain to a friend so I could get a clone when I was ready. The problem I have is he now has spider mites. I grew the strain (sugar black rose) for 4 years and would like to keep it. Is there any way to positively kill the mites on one small clone or should l start from new seed to be safe?

If it were a rare highly coveted clone only strain I might try to treat/dunk/quarantine it, but SBR is a readily available strain you can pick up at many different banks. I'd probably just order a couple of Fem seeds and start over with a healthy new plant.
It only takes a single egg to survive.

Hi, I was fighting mites for months until I was told to try Forbid4F by my local gardenshop. The 8oz bottle is $230.00 but my friend at the shop told me where to buy a 1oz bottle,

After 2 applications they were gone and my room has been mite free ever since. I only used it in early veg and I grow medical so I have to have produce tested for any residual pesticides, nothing was detected!
I did not use on clones though,
Good Luck!
