yo Daddy!
Yes, Dutch Master's Penetrator is an awesome product! How are things going with your mite problem? YO Adrock, So it looks like you have used this stuff before. Have you used it for other applications besides what I have used it for, Neem oil? I was told it works for alot of different foliar products, but I have not heard much about it yet, so I am reluctant to through it in the mix..

i use some stuff called go-nats its pretty muchg little cedar chips you place them around the base of your plant make sure the cedar chips dont make contact with your plants or it will burn Hey drifta, thanks for the option. So do you use this stuff regularly for preventative bug problems, or do you use this stuff for killing them during an infestation?

dont follow this idea! What's up Abud? What is the potential problem with the Co2 concept?

Theres some stuff called "Bang" that you can use up to a few days b4 harvest. I dont rec that you spray so close to harvest but it works. If you have just started budding use a fogger. Pyrethium. Then followup 4 days later with a fogger that finishes them off. post treatment type pyrethium fogger. . I had spider mites galore, i have a few now but i control them with "Einstein oil", also "Insecticidal soap" made by Neudorff. Spray once a week with different oils. I use 3 diff types. Organicide (however you spell it) works great too. Dont forget to foliar spray your plants b4 nighty night time. I never use these products while the lights are on. Spray just b4 the lights go out or your plants might burn in spots or twist up. Thanks for the idea's Unclesativa..I have heard mixed opinions on using Foggers during the grow, most people say that a foliar spray is a safer, more non-toxic way to kill off these little monsters! What do you think on that subject? It looks like you have used many different types of bug killers, out of all that you have used, what do you think worked the best with the least amount of chemical warfare? Thanks for the post!

Yo Daddy!!
Yes, I have had lots of experience with Penetrator and other DutchMaster products. My friends own a really nice, hih-tech shop and they always hook me up with the best stuff available. You can use Penetrator with Folitech(grow), during the veg cycle: and during the budding cycle use Penetrator with Folitech(flower). You combine them with water and put them in a spray bottle and spray plants until dripping off the leaves. Do this twice a week and you will be super stoked on the results. Let me know if you would like any more info on nutrients, etc.

Organicide is really good. Look online at nationalgardenwholesale.com and look for the bugs they sell. Pirate bugs eat the mites. Also Lady bugs work ok. Thre are all kinds of natural preditors but some are expensive. I recommend pyrethium fogger for infestation to get rid of most of them then cut off the leaves that have the spots. Then use a post treatment fogger. Then every 4 days use a different product. one day "einstein oil", next 4 days use the soap, next use organicide. Dont use any of these if you using bugs/natural pred to kill the mites but it sounds like your infested. Pyrethium DO IT!!! :peace:

Nice, thanks for the advice! I think I have it under control with just the neem. But if things get out of control I will kick it up a notch and take your advice to the visa account and pick up some pyrethium. Props for your help Uncle, I hope I can help you out some day also...Peace

Does using any of the sprays slow down the growth in either the vegetative or flowering stage when treating mites?

hi , do not spray neem on plants in the last month , they will taste funny, use pyrethrin, fogger, every 3 days, till mites are gone , then once a week, alternate sprays like one week organacide, then neem , no one thing works completely, good luck, or try 1600 x-clude, spray, timed released pyrethrum, dont spray directly on plants it may burn leaves or buds,

I just had a spider mite problem. Didn't catch it until it had develpoed into an infestation. The little fuckers had cast nets over my buds on three of my plants. So I just pulled them out and doused them thoroughly under the sink sprayer. Figured it rains outside, so why not? Knocked off all the webs and now I've got a fan drying them back to normal. I'm in SoCal and the humidity is about 30%, so mold shouldn't be a problem. I'm going to grab a bomb this afternoon and killl the rest of the bastards.

heres a trick i learned from our friends at cannabiscom for spider mites. all of the sprays and bug bombs you could use will work probably for a little while, but pretty much the cheapest and easiest way to get rid of spider mites is to use a pest strip. not the sticky kind though. you can find them at pretty much any aisle of a pest control section whether in a garden store or supermarket. they are incredibly effective. just hang it up in your grow room and all you should see any bugs. it will get rid of all your mite problems! hot shot no pest strips are a typical brand you would see in store and itll run you about 5 bucks.

I use "Einstein Oil", about a 1 tsp per quart of water with a few drops of liquid soap added. It's great for spider mites, gnats, aphids, and a whole host of other pests. You can used it up to a couple of weeks before harvest. Any longer and you plants might still have that garlic taste. If you use ladybugs, a good trick is to spray them with sugar water. This will prevent them from flying away. I am a licensed exterminator and would advise against using any of the commercial applications, except for pyrethrum. The problem is that many sprays have other additives. Pyrethrum comes from the chrysanthemum flower and if you are lucky to find a product that is pure pyrethrum get it!!! A good product and one that I use is "CB-80" But depending on where you live you may need a pest control license to get it.

For everyone, If you have big plants - take cuttings and get rid of the big plants. Wait for your cuttings to root, take them out - 1 at a time, use strong magnifying glass and brush bugs and eggs off of leaves and stems. Take your fingers and pinch around the bottom of your medium so you can kill the eggs and the live spider mites. Make sure you do both sides of the leaves throughly. Then, take your plant and dip it completely in your solution, BUT DON'T DIP THE ROOTS, only about 1/4 inch of medium. I prefer Azatrol, but you can use what ever you think will work. Azatrol is kind of expensive, but worth it. I also rub down the stems incase there are egg casings. "SPIDER MITES ARE WICKED MOTHER FUCKERS".

I have been using Azatrol for a few sprays, I have been using a ratio of 1 to 100 and it has not bothered the plants yet, but has not killed all the mites yet...I think I am going to kick it up a notch and see what happens.....on a tester plant of course...

just curious, have you ever brought in any foreign plants to your grow room from your garden etc? and was wondering if you had pets that may occasionally get into your grow area? thanks and good luck with your battle
