Spider sp4000 test.

For what its worth! These gals are into their 7th week and have lived under my SF-1000 and off and on a couple of cheap 5000 k shop lights in the 45 watt range. I'm pretty happy with what's happened thus far.
Thanks. Looking good. I’ll post lots of pictures after work. I am from the United States but I relocated to Spain a year ago. This will be my first Spanish grow.

Arachnophobic? Maybe you are just scared of Chinese lights. Well, here is a “Test Grow” using the new Spider SP 4000.
Your timing is perfect, I think. I was considering the Spider Farmer sf4000's while I transition from the traditional hps/mh lights that Iv' been using with great success for the last 10 years. My first question... are we looking at the same lights? You have sp4000 in the title. Should your title read sf4000 or am I researching a different light?

Ok. I’m back. I have been testing plants since 2010. I did not post on and thread or forum since 2012. Recently I moved from the United States to Spain. I wanted to reduce my energy use , so I decided it was time to put away the 1000 watt hps and go with some quantum power.
I was a big scared to spend huge dollars on something I wasn’t sure I would like so I did some research and went with the spider farmer sf4000. I looked for a test grow and I couldn’t find one so I have decided I will create one.
Places, ask me anything. I am happy to take advice. I want this to be informative to all. Thanks. Cb420.

I had trouble with these seeds. I popped 4 and only one grew. All other seeds grew. I’m happy to have one.

This is my baby. It is my select cut from cannaventure flaming cooking. I reversed the plant so it can travel with me. Love these genetics.

As it turns out, it is very expensive to get all of the growing supplies and nutrients here that I am used to using. So this is what I’m going to use for this grow. But, I did read somebody say recently that plants can’t read what type of food they are eating and I know when plants are healthy ,so I think that these foods shall do just fine. Not pictured is the blackstrap molasses I will finish then with.

You should make sure you get down real close to a couple individual diodes of the different colors, and take some nice detailed photos. Get the reds, the "ir" if it claims to have it, and the whites. Don't know if its 3000K AND 5000K but either way.
But ya, pics are great. :)

in one of the close up pics you can see the infrared. It’s really dark.
