split Ac units

Hey guys starting to get hot in BC .... anyone running a split ac unit 2 zone.... or the standard h-vac system ... anyone running a slip they seem to be a lot cheaper,are they having problem cooling the room...I have 8 1000x will a 3 tone split keep me cool.. thanks for the help

I have a single room ac/heat unit in the roomI have my tent in. Cost a lot but I needed as the room is my office as well. It is working great for me to keep intake air cool and right now I am utilizing the dehumidifier on it as they are running high for flower. But I run CFLs.

I have 2 split air units separately. My only word of caution is that if the power goes out then they wont turn back on automatically. You have to manually turn them off and then back on again from the remote control. I have read that some have a thermostat that you can buy and that should take care of the problem but neither of mine have that option. They work great though. Rule of thumb is 4000 BTU's of AC for every 1000 watts. If you have hoods that are being vented however then you will have plenty of cooling with a 3 ton.

Do u think the splits are putting out the btu that they say are...???? I want to put a duel unit at into may garage
