I've been looking at them. Nice that the main unit is outside so no heat added to the room. And I don't know if that is the unit but there is one you can add another system for a second room.

It's only pricey for the start. But if you think about it like this. I have two units ( they where free ) each would cost around 300. And the heat is alot to deal with and creeps in my rooms so now they work harder to cool. So electric is alot more. 1 unit going 60% is better then 2 smaller running 70% of the time. In the long run will save money. At least that's what I'm telling my self so I can keep putting money away for it. My last grow went to Xmas gifts.

From what I've read it's not the easiest but by no means hard. Just find where you want to moun the rOom units and then within range of your hoses mount the main unit and make sure you have wiring that can handle it. Canect hoses and charge system. Plug in and done. So if you can hook up a sink you should be abul to do it in a few hours.

Make sure when you are looking at split ac systems you see how many SEERS they are,, the higher the number the more energy efficient they are... Alot of them on ebay are around 13 seer... A good unit will be anywhere between 19 and 21... I run Fujitsu split ac units with heat pumps... they are awsome units and easy to install.... it is advised to vacuum the lines before you open the valves so the freon is released (they are pre charged), but you can flush the lines with freon if you cannot find a vacuum pump and gauges.....
