spore germination...SOS!

i purchased a few syringes from microtech and its been 5 days from inoculation and i still dont see anything happening and the syringes i made from a print germanated after 24 hours. did i get bunk syringes or can germanation take up to a week?

if spores have been suspended in water the entire time and you have put it on optimum substrate (mea, PDA) and your temps are in the very high 70's you should see evidence at the ten day mark. (for o. Cubensis)

I waited around 3 weeks for germination before. I was almost certain something was wrong but they colonized and fruited.

I figure i would do a follow up and let you guys know your information holds up! 10 day mark and I see one spec in 4 out of 12 jars. One jar has two specs so that one looks like it will be successful but I swear the syringes were so poor quality I am afraid some jars might turn out mono if they don't have a friend to meet up with.. Thanks again guys I will keep my hopes up.

your odds aren't real good at two spores, I think 25 percent.

you are going to want at least 5 I believe.

I got signs at day 4. Didnt use microtech though
