your ph is not too low, 5.5-5.7 in veg is perfect. if above poster was saying a k issue, your ph is perfect for k. it is mag.
Yes. But everything I've ever read within the 11+ years I've been growing has
Advised a ph level of 6.5 for soil ph. That way all of the "nutrients" will be available
To the plant, without any problems, such as lockout, etc'.. not trying to argue with
You or anything. Just saying this is what I've seen for a long time, & its what I've tried to
Always keep mine at. Because if you look at the charts, you will see that at this range,
All of the nutrients are avaliable to your plants..

if you will look at the chart it shows a soil and a hydro chart. the op is running HYDRO. therefore, if he took your advice he would seriously damage his plants.

Oh bullshit! How is running your ph at the correct level going to reuin his plant?!
That's such a load of crap! It never has screwed my plants up in the past 11+ years of
Growing! Nor other folks that keep there within that range aswell!

Hey! Yeah, sorry bout that big dog.. I didn't. See the thread where he was growing
In hydro. I run soil myself.. and yeah that a big jump isn't it. That's crazy how the ph
Levels are so different. With the soil vs the hydro..

Tottaly my fault! Anyways, I am glad that I posted the diagram with my post..
That and you caught it.. take er easy.. and happy 420.. later.

I dissolved 6 tsp in a liter then added it to my 112 liter tote ph is at 5.6 but my ppm shot up to 350 from 230 does that sound like too much?
also the plant it is affecting the most has just about stop growing, tangerine dream seems to be more susceptible. The kandy kush only has small spots in the middle of the leaf.
Maybe the problem started with the water or EC.

***update***
PROBLEM SOLVED with epson salt it was a mag def spots have stop spreading and plants have new growth all around thanks to all that replied

Being he is using distilled water, poor choice for growing, they probably are a little short on calcium and magnesium.
Tap water from the city here .80 ppm from the tap! There's something to be said for diligent water treatment! Serious farmers should always check in on there annual water report the get a sense of what they'll need to do in order to make it grower and plant friendly!

Glad to hear it was a cal-mag deficiency and you have it all cleared. You say your only running 350ppm in hydro...while they may be growing ok they could and should be at a higher ppm IMO. I usually run about 750-1000ppm in the beginning of veg but by time I'm nearing the 12/12 flip from 18/6 I'm at least at the 1000ppm mark if not 1200..sometimes even 1500 depending on the strain. You might want to consider giving the nutes to them till you just start to see the leaf tips browning(over nuted) then backing down a bit to stop the browning and get a benchmark # so you'll know and can document for your own records what the strain can handle. This will help you in future grows especially if your ever going to run the same strain. Just a thought for ya.
