Spotting and purple stem problem

I can't seem to figure out what is hurting my girl (Vanilla Ksh). She's about 30 or so days from seed. Temps, RH, res temps, and air are all fine and I use distilled water. I've had this problem for a couple weeks now. Initially it started out at a ph that was too low (below 5.8 I'm sure) and a ppm of 180 (I have a ph meter but didn't buy the calibration fluid so I've been using PH test fluid... initially I was running my soup at a orange-yellow PH). Raising the ppm to 370 and the ph (light olive green-yellow, supposedly 6.0) seemed to slow it down a bit but the problem continued. Currently I am running it at the same ph (6.0?), and at a ppm of 530. I'm using GH flora. I noticed she doesn't drink much, and the ppm doesn't change too much either. The spotting starts at the leaf tips of the older leaves first, they are brown spots w/ yellow edges. They almost resemble rust spots. And the stems and petioles are a purple/burgandy color. I'm not sure if that is a different problem or related. Any help is appreciated, thanks :)

I don't grow hydro, but if you used distilled you need to add back in Cal-mag. I don't know if the nutes you are using have this in it. Conversely, if your tap is shitty and has too much cal-mag in it naturally (hard water), those elements become locked out and the symptoms can look the same. Considering you are using distilled with no cal-mag in it, I would guess you need to supplement these nutes back in on an ongoing basis.

Cool, Thanks MrDank.

Can you use molasses to provide cal and mag to your plants?
you can use a teaspoon of milk as well as a pinch of epsom salt.

also, try watering with rainwater, i any deficiencies but also because my medium already has either worm castings or rich N guano mixed in with compost.

are u using 3part general hydroponic flora series u said i use the same in r.o. water 2ppm if using NON-HARD WATER MICRO ONLY u have more than enough rotios are 5%cal 1%mag for those that dont use this product given u have purple stems n tips droop i say npk def no doubt do not add mag/cal this a mistake ppl often make it will only lock thing up componding ur problems you can do 2 things 1 get some calbration sloution if u cant mix a batch before u water take to hydro store or fish store they will ph test for u fish store give story that soundds good pen broke bur need to change tank blabla bla, mix e.c.1.3 ppm 650 1-1-1 ratio add h202 if never used before 2.5 ml/gal at first n 1ml added daily of first dose then every 4 days change res or top up with nute/ph'd water 2nd way add 1drop of wttn agent per gal mix fresh bash nutes 1-1-1 ratio 600ppm to start then raise every 4 days 50 ppm till plants respond wettn agent will lessen water surface tension allowing for better absorbtion in low nute solutions
