Spotting on Fan leafs...

I've got some spotting on the fan leaves of one of my girls...
Four weeks into flowering. Temp 80F, humidity around 40%.
324w T5. Using Technaflora "RFS" - Bloom Stage.
Filtered tap water < 100 ppm. pH 6.1-6.4.

Could it be a Mn deficiency?

Ya my friend, on those close ups, I see little white "egg" like things. You got a case of da mites. But lets get a third set of eyes on that&#8230;.
 
There may be mites, but I can't find any. I think I would have spotted at least one on a visual inspection, especially with the microscope. I'll keep looking but in the mean time since I don't have any Neem oil I'll spray her with a diluted peroxide solution.
 
I'm not convinced it's spider mites...
I've pulled off about a half dozen or so leaves that had the spotting and examined them under a digital microscope. But I cannot find any mites. I'm looking all over too. I have Azamax at the ready if I do spot mites, but I don't want to treat the plant for something it might not have.
To me, it seems like a deficiency or a disease of some sort. Calcium deficiency?

bumping this post...need help...can't find mites anywhere. It's gotta be something else.
 
Ther's only 1 thing I can be sure of looking at your pics is that is def not spider mites..On the picture of your plant in full it looks quite healthy so how many leaves are affected??
 
Also I have had this prob on a few crops where I first thought spider mites but the yellowing specs was only along the veins of the leaf like yours..What I do remember is it only affected a few leaves here and there and didn't spread much and I finished with a good harvest..just keep an eye on it

Does , TF nutes have , cal mag. Or a micro nute?
idk possible mites , bu I think its a simple micro nutes deficient
your water allways 6.1 -6.4 ? You water need to be at 6.5 to eat all nutes
othe wise your locking one out .

I think you have the same problem I do, I posted about mine with pics and they have the same goldish spotting, a few people said its probably a calcium deficiency and I've also done some research and found that calcium/magnesium deficiency go hand in hand, my advice would be to get some cal/mag. That's what I'm doing. My thread is called "leaf problem/ can't diagnose" it should be on the first or second page, check it out and tell me what you think.
 
I had something that looked just like that. I determined it was a calcium deficiency caused by the high acidity of Roots Organic soil I was using. There's alot of peat in there, if you don't amend with dolomite lime to keep the acidity in check then Ca will get locked out, most of the time along with Mg. Add to that I was using RO water using only 5ml/gal of CalMag.
 
Hey all, sorry for not posting sooner...

Well the spotting/deficiency thing is still going on, but with only a couple weeks or so left, the plants are starting to use up all their stored nutrients, so it seems. I'm removing dryed up leaves (and accidentally removing not-so-dryed up ones) daily.

I have some MagiCal from the Technaflora RFS kit I'm using, but I got tired of mixing the Technaflora nute tea thing. I reverted to an old bloom powder I had which has no Mg or Cal and adding the MagiCal.

I'm not sure if the Fox Farm soils need the additional dolomite, but I'll add some on the next grow. However, at this point I'll let the buds eat up the nutrients from the rest of the plant.

I plan to reveg all five of my girls...last time I got 2 out of 4 to survive and give me a second crop. This time, if any survive I might use them as mother plants and try cloning, or just go for the second crop.

Here a few pics of the crop. Maybe 2-4 weeks left? We'll see.

Man look into calcium def. a little calmag and your good. Good threads out there with pictures that's how I found my calcium def. good luck man!
