Brown spots are more calcium than mg (which Epson has no calcium)If those spots turn brown, add 1 teaspoon of Epsom Salt to a gallon of water. Water with that for the next 3 waterings.

If it was a bigger plant, you could confirm depending if it was on the old growth or the new growth.

Calcium deficiency will spot and also spot the tips.
Mag will spot the interior of the leaves and start to dry the oldest leaves.
In any case, calmag seems to be in order.
