spraying vs. praying

when do you stop spraying?

where i live, moths and mites are the main concerns, so i spray neem once a week and BT the next week until late august.

after the buds start setting, i stop spraying and start praying for no bugs.

i'm sure many go later, i'm just curious as to general cut off dates.

i usually stop when the buds swell up. I imagine water being able to rinse off anything applied foliar and would prolly be 3-5 weeks into flower when i stop, followed by a foliar flushing .

I also take it inside when it rains, other weaker plants around them like basil distract bugs away. Also when the bud gets to a certain density it makes it hard for bugs to get in there. I do the same thing though, i stop spraying when the buds start to dense and make sure things are all rinsed.

Nizza, or anybody... Can you please elaborate on foliar flushing? Is that simply spraying your plants with just water? I don't think that I have even heard of this method.

depends on what I'm spraying. I just sprayed neem oil two days ago for a small pm outbreak on one plant. that plant, and others, have had mites, which I have been trying to ignore, but I couldn't leave the pm alone. it will be my last neem spray - I'm about halfway through flowering and I hated to do it but I felt like I was in the last part of the window to safely do so. If the pm persists, I may try the diluted milk method I've seen here, and I'm not averse to spraying water w/ h202 in it to combat pm all the way to the end.
