another Illinois boy here. my grow has yet to ventured outside. but my friends will plant the same time they plant the tomatoes and the rest of the garden, and then dont harvest till late October. look at the farmers almanac watch the day light hours march, april, may, october. then chose the best fit for the strain.
this year we plan on haveing a bunch of clones ready to go. we are still trying to decide how long to veg and when to place outside for best results. hopeing to harvest when everyone else is still drooling over their plant still in the ground. lol plus there a a ton of gardners in this area that tuck a few plant behind the tomatoes, and the nosie neighbors rat them out. so the police are on to harvest season and keep a eye out. with our method we will be ahead of them. waving with a big grin as they drive by in the alley, instead frezzing and trying to act normal.
